These parts are much much cheaper now (found one on eBay for $25). Thanks for the video tho, even with trim tools managed to break 2 clips on the old one. Nothing some needle nose pliers couldn't fix, just make sure you realize the clips are broken before you try to install the new one so you can get the pieces out.
have a2019 A4 with the B&O sound system. I think my bass rattle is coming from the rear parcel shelf. wonder if the fix is the same. I think its the sub grill cover.
nah. the more I read about a fix the more places I find I'd have to fix. I'll try removing the sub cover on top first and putting some felt on it. It seems there are a dozen places that can or do vibrate or rattle. :(@@chukdeyphata1323
I'm getting a rattle from the inner left part of the dashboard, just under the windshield. It's as if there are a couple of clips that has come loose and it's f.. annoying. Do I really need to remove the entire dashboard in order to fix this - or remove the windshield all together for access?
Since your vid is about mitigation by replacing with a modified OEM part, I made a step-by-step guide of my successful DiY attempt with same result for less: ua-cam.com/video/q1FBWqHXukc/v-deo.html I used your replacement part as visual in case someone wants to stay OEM. tx for the inspiration. cheers.
Oh wow... didn't know they did this. This is talked about alot on the forums. Thanks for this!
Yep they definitely cheaped out on the assembly line

pull the sub speaker grill cover and try felt to soundproof and quiet the rattle.@@chukdeyphata1323
I also have this issue. Any fix?
The 2022, or the 2nd refresh of the B9 fixed this.

You’re under warranty. You shouldn’t have to pay for the updated part…
Yeah dealer “fixed it” under warranty using their own makeshift fix with tape. Didn’t work, they refused to buy the updated part
@@arsenyrazhkov4559 Wow! You should’ve called Audi customer care to complain and they would’ve done something.
@@arthurfernandes2402 not worth it over something so cheap. If it was major then of course
@@arsenyrazhkov4559Must be nice to think $200 isn’t “expensive” 😅
