Hi, i have a question on darkfield microscopy. I have Delta Optical Biostage II microscope. Producer states that this model couldnt be upgraded to darkfield. I tried 3d printed patch stops, but the best results i got was dark grey background. Would you be so kind and advice me what to do? Is it possibile that this microscope is bot suitable to this method?
This is great! Im looking for very inexpensive but somewhat quality microscopes that can be sent easily to my biology students all over the world. This might be a solution if the price is low enough. Has anyone yet looked at the newest if the 4k USB microscopes yet that are also wireless?
You need to make the openflexure microscope. When my 3d printer arrives(end of July) I will be making the delta stage with advanced illumination- enabling psuedo-phase contrast, darkfield, rheinberg illumination! Academic groups are modifying to do all sorts of very high end techniques (beyond my pay grade). I am looking forward to this challenge.
JLCPCB offers quite inexpensive custom 3D printing service delivered by mail, if you can't find anyone selling it directly. They might be able to sell you the electronics as well in the same package, since their main business is in manufacturing and assembling custom PCBs.

Can you compare the same slide with the fodscope?

One question, what software do you use for the microscope with a Canon Dslr camera? Thank you.
I record the video directly into the camera. To display the video live on the computer: Canon EOS webcam utility.
@@MicrobehunterMicroscopy Thank you so much.

This is so cool. Thank you for sharing!
Are you aware of someone who has the 3rd printed parts? I don't have a printer.
