Same for me. I only discovered Klaus back in September 2019 when starting university. I won't forget first stumbling onto his Kontinuum album here on UA-cam via a recommendation while doing some programming.
I discovered Schulze when I was 34, was trying to look for something ambient. So happy that I found that name. I keep discovering new tracks that are to my liking, because the discography is huge. PS I also recommend PIc Nicboy, he is a great follower of Schulze.

Its amazing that he can have an album this good in the mid 70s and then put out something as good as kontinuum like 30 years later. Talk about not losing anything with the passing of time! A great loss. There's a lot of people who haven't heard this stuff and that is a great shame.
His music of the 70s and 80s is maybe better than the more recent cd's. Because there is more worthless singing in the later ones and that doesn't make it better.
Recently I've been suffering an exhausting episode of insomnia due to permanent crises and health issues. Klaus' music helped me to find inner balance again and regaining some rhythm of life by listening to his music at night. What a catharsis.

A real masterpiece in electronic music - I love it since the 70s and can hear it again and again! I like the old K.S. music, because it is very creative, inspiring and also with a lot of genius intuition!
One of the neighborhood families I would visit as a child had this record, and Kluster, and others (probably Can and Neu!) laying around on the floor and such.
