Active Reload can be popped right before Haze ult to nuke enemies for extra 20% dmg in teamfights, just tap left click once and go into stealth and hover near team, once the fight breaks out press R for Active Reload into Unstoppable + ult
its actually +20% firerate that scales additively from base firerate so its not really 20% damage increase, swift striker gives +22% firerate and your prolly going bullet ls on haze because she needs it so the active reload ls isnt doing too much. QSR is an instant reload and gives 15% firerate instead of the 20% from active reload but scales way better into the lategame as active reload doesnt really instantly reload but cuts the reload time in half. also weapon items are extrealy contested on haze making it even harder to justify getting active reload.
@deruitsu oh yeah right when I tested it in sandbox I only did it with one item forgot about diminishing returns Basically I think QSR is staple on Haze it's just the matter of whether to take both or just QSR
@@Raisuru yea i agree, but personally i feel that active reload becomes redundant when u get qsr as you end up just reloading with qsr all the time unless you are activating it intentionally just for the buff and not the reload reduction in which i feel like an item such as kinetic dash might be better.
QSR is better on Haze. Orange slot is needed for other items. Also QSR buff lasts for the whole mag but AR is just for a few seconds. Out of fights always reload with QSR dagger and you can have the buff basically always.
If you shoot a couple bullets before you go invisible as haze, then use active reload before you break stealth it gives you the fire rate and life steal for the fight, plus the bullet damage and ammo just for having it. Early game having both can be worth it because using this method then getting an extra mag fast with QSR + fire rate on the second mag is big damage early. Should definitely sell one later in the game.
yea i understand the benefits of active reload in the early game as haze likes the firerate and lifesteal. however the item gets loses value when you get bullet ls which you need on haze (she cant get away with conditional lifesteal in my opinion) and swift striker is more damage in the ealry game and is a must buy on any haze build. so going swift striker-> bullet ls-> qsr is really good after the laning phase and adding active reload just to sell it later isnt worth it in my opinion. also the gun slots are extremally contested on haze making it even more awkward.
What would you recommend for infernus? Considering he likes to have a lot more spirit lategame than scaling his bullet damage, I think pretty much everyone agrees that it should be put on catalyst to you can mag dump twice and get the damage amp on the afterburn there after
Great video. I agree with everything said except vindicta. She really really needs QSR. You almost always have ult charges to spare, so if you have to use one for a reload its okay. Also you can just quick scope them after Mag1 and they are usually under 50% so it does massive damage. And instantly resume with mag2 As for wraith, agree that the 3 should not get QSR because it wastes the damage of QSR
@@redrider578 mm i see. i actually tryed to play a game of vindicta to test it out after i made this video and it did still feel strange to not buy qsr so maybe i should have thought of a different example.
yea ppl do still buy active reload cause reload reduction is really strong for gun builds and some chars cant buy qsr without making sacrifices that isnt worth it sometimes.
@ ig the way I like to build is to orient around an ability I can qsr on. Bonus points if it’s charged. I guess maybe active is ok if your trying to go like full gun

nice, i wasnt even awake of the duration while making this video but yea you always want qsr on haze.

Which item would you recommend for Ivy?
prolly qsr on her 1 for a full gun build, but if you want to go hybrid with many charges on 1 to spam it lategame you can go active reload
Thanks big dawg
Do people even buy active reload though? Even after last patches buff it’s still mid as hell

@@azebramoomoo2727 yea the thing is some chars dont have good abilities to put qsr on like in the video i used wraith as an example
