Antonio Allen has taken gospel music to a brand new level. If you never listened to gospel music before you will after listening to the Antonio Allen gospel jazz sax.
I DO NOT KNOW IF THERE IS A MAN ON THE PLANET THAT CAN PLAY A SAX AS GOOD AS ANTONIO ALLEN.. IF THERE IS.. I HAVENT HEARD HIM!! BLESSS THE MAJESTIC NAME OF JESUS FOR HIS GIFT
He was at my church Sunday what a awesome anointed gift he has I'm sorry I only brought 1 CD I'm going to order more GREAT MUSIC I wash I had his lung compacity he can hold a note I timed it for two and a half minutes amazing
Great Circular Breathing - with vocals to break the monotony during the long, beautifully held note. Just the adequate amount of amplified embellishments: reverb and echo! Lohvissimo!
Gifted and amazing ! I played the trumpet but now I’m moving my talent and gift over to the soprano sax! You inspire me! Continue to let the good Lord use you bro! God bless you
He uses a technique called "circular breathing" (playing simultaneously while breathing) used by advanced classical brass and woodwind musicians while performing EXTREMELY technical classical pieces originally arranged for stringed instruments due to the long complex stanzas and runs. VERY difficult to master if taught, but according to Allen's account, it was The Lord who showed him this technique in a dream. He has no choice but to give God the glory for this ....Part of his witness in his music ministry, i'm sure..... Look up Wynton Marsalis' (was taught this technique, possibly at Juillard?) version of Paganini's "Moto Perpetuo" to see this technique MASTERFULLY used in classical format.
I sure do love the lord 😇❤️
