@@lifeisgreat1048 Automation sounds great on paper but the fully automated industries beyond immensely high volume and precision industries will take a very, very long time. The sheer infrastructure behind it requires labor, especially skilled and semi-skilled that we probably don't have considering they would be directly competing with industries invested in the Energy transition, which will effectively be the most subsidized in Human History. Africa has plenty of time, relatively. On the other hand, demographics and a young labor force are proving to be quite an issue, a young country is also a volatile one 99% of the time and in order to not fuck up this new "africa boomer generation", the highest priority will have to be given to peace and security. In the end, labor is and always will be driving force of an economy.
