SkyFi Audio is a small startup business specializing in the purchase, reconditioning, and reselling of select high end audio equipment. We only buy equipment that we admire and are passionate about. No mid-fi, no gimmicks, and no junk.
Each piece of equipment is cosmetically restored and fully tested in our well-equipped lab by an engineer with 30+ years of experience in the HiFi world. If it does not meet or exceed the original manufactures specifications, it will not be sold. We are very selective about the equipment we purchase, focusing on mostly analog, high-build quality, American, and European built units.

Nobody talk about KENWOOD DP 7090 CD player, first owner for over 20 years now, work and sound like new.
Who was in business first Sky Fi Audio or Sky Labs Audio? I see a big similarity in the names of the companies.
The Empire turntable is very interesting. The Fisher 500TX was my first hifi receiver in 1972 I think.
Seems to be more poplar than I thought as it would have been pretty expensive back in the 70s. What was the rest of the system?

My first audio system integrated amp when I was 15 years old was a Fisher X202B kit which I built. It was a wonderful starter amp in 1961.

Got old Fisher receiver, pres Power but no lights, tansformer hum but nothig else is working ???? What to look first?

About 50 years ago my first component system was made up of a Fisher TX 1000 integrated amp, a Fsher TFM 1000 FM tuner and Fisher XP 7 speakers.
I purchased a second TX1000 amp when quad was in its beginning.
I still have them but they haven’t been used in years.
I also had a Fisher reverb unit but sold that along time ago.
Brings back many memories 😄
