For the magic trick, I'm sure this is what they did. The reason they're all standing that way is because there is enough space in each box for those 4 people to lay down. And all 4 of them are twins, so not exactly random people.
That was my guess, they all laid down and put a false floor over the top of themselves or something along those lines because they can't physically have left that contraption

5:54 they have a small compartment they can all lay down in, completely flat, the other one has it aswell, and the one's who were in the box, all are identical twins, one in each box
7:00 my guess is that the empty box is a screen and they use a 3d illusion to show the background still as it spins. That’s why when they get out the man ‘brings them back’ to the original box
7:25 the first box has the people inside of them. But when they put the blanket over the box, they’re able to turn on a high tech green screen that I believe was developed in 2016 that can be see through until turned on. And the other box had the exact same screen, and was turned on to emulate the other box after they covered it with a blanket. In the full video, they “magically” brought them back to their original box, but in reality they were always there. The participants were blind folded so that they didn’t realize that it they were always in that box and that the other box was just showing a vivid reflection of them through the screen they used.

7:10 when you see the glass shimmer, it is an LED(I assume) and they are told not to move so the image is replicated on fake clear glass that is actually just a screen. they are photographed and replicated onto the empty one as it is really a screen whilst the original just goes from clear to a screen

With the box one, my question is do they get out the box after or swap them back first? Cuz if they swap them back, the glass might actually be screens with camera's, one projects an empty box to the one with people in and the peoples images are projected to the one that's empty. This is why the boxes rotate to help give more of a 3d look to the screens

No, glasses don't work that way. You can see straight through them, the buildings and other spectators. The trick is just as simple as a collapsible floor, the floor is just big enough for 4 people to lay down.
It's not a glass trick sadly. In the original video from the Today show, the boxes only have three panels of glass with one side left open for the actors to walk in and out of. So, it can't be a reflective glass trick since there would be one side that we can still see into.
The actors were hiding in that black box on the floor of the glass box. At first glance it seems too small to fit everyone, but of course it needs to look like that because the magician doesn't want anyone thinking everyone can possibly fit in there. But, if this isn't the trick, the floor of the glass box would've been much thinner (as in, a simple flat panel rather than a thick block). The eight actors are just capable of fitting in those black boxes.
I would guess that the magic trick in the boxes there’s some sort of projection in the 2nd one and filter to stop u being able to see in the first one

the one with people changing place is easy. you reviewed at one point a video about a type of materials that a guy used as a shield and when he hidden behind it , he became invisibile. a materials that reflects the surrounding and imitates it across it's surface so who ever is behind it can't be seen. as the "magic" starts we see two boxes one empty and one with 4 people . actually the 1st box has also 4 ppl dressed the same and of almost same body shape, similar to the other one. when the curtains drop, also the invisibility materials drops over the box were you see the people and when it's lifted the "invisibility" material is left behind , covering the people inside, making the box look empty. on the box that was innitialy "empty" when the curtain is droped than lifted, the invisibility material is lifted together with the curtain , revealing the people that actualy were there since start, creating the illusion that people magically moved from one to the other. generally this type of acts are made with public participation . everyone in the video is a participant, knowing and seeing both boxes filled with 4 ppl each. as a viewer of the video you assume its an amateur camera guy from a "random crowd" filming the event. is actually a group of 60-70 people scatered around + the crew of 8 people split in 2 boxes, two woman assistants and the "magician" . clever and very impressive. ev en tho is easy to figure out, that's not the point. We already know (hopefully) that magic doesn't exist. So we must watch the clip , not with the expectation of seing magic, but to see the illusion played very nice and clean, as an entertainment act. And yea, is awesome and high five for the whole crew.

The disappearing in a box trick is almost always done with mirrors and if theres two boxes then probably body doubles/fake audience (if they use an audience)

As far as I know, those people in that trick are in on it (whether they were "randomly" selected from the crowd or not). The people got out of the box and went into the other. Either that or the four people you see in the second box are 4 different people. Either way, it seems impossible for them to leave that box, because there is nothing underneath big enough for people to climb down. So even though, I am confident in what the people did to move from one to the other, it still seems impossible.
The trick was probably something to do with alternating mirrors
