What section of Vail are you in? There are different section of Vail. Also the Hallmark movie “Winter in Vail” with Lacey Chabert was filmed.
The old part of Vail is German section

Assuming you are asking about Vail and not Denver, there isn't currently a mask mandate or vaccination requirement in Vail but that may change prior to January
