Some of those works close the fight between Biased and Unbiased renderers, as one couldn't really tell the difference. Vray is the top unbiased choice, especially for rendering animations!
@DaveK183 Yeah, I also think that 3:05 - 3:06 is probably the real life footage...I find it hard to believe that those shoes were made in CG, because whoever made it is a CG genius.

There is a world of possibilities. A think... Autocad + 3Ds Max in combination with Lumion + Cinema 4D could work with this... But this is just options.... Also Maxwell Render. Blender and Keyshot can offer you a lot of possibilities.
the hardest work i see here are the models, to be honest. most renderings are okay-ish, but not overwhelming after all, some are not even Vray-optimized. a little disappointing after i saw the Like bar...
Ray tracing is not the future of gaming a 30TFLOPS gpu can run this at a solid 0.7 frames per second which is nvidias tesla 6000 now but for this to become our game experience it will take 5000TFLOPS to run it at 60fps so I think there is time before this is in our living room
