Open Terminal inside “ Epson_2170_Ubuntu “
Printer Installation
1. sudo su
2. If system is Ubuntu 18.04 or 20.04 apt-get remove --purge ippusbxd
If system is Ubuntu 22.04 or later apt-get remove --purge ipp-usb
3. dpkg -i epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2_1.1.62-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb
4. dpkg -i epson-printer-utility_1.1.1-1lsb3.2_amd64.deb
5. apt-get update
6. apt-get -f install
7. Add Printer from Ubuntu Printer Menu
Scanner Installation
1. cd epsonscan2-bundle-6.7.43.0.x86_64.deb
2. ./install.sh
3. Open All application list and Navigate “EpsonScan2”
In cases where EpsonScan2 doesnot open give below CMD:
1. sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5
