Dorit continues to deal with PTSD caused by her home invasion, which proves especially difficult after she’s robbed again. On top of this, she and PK attempt to work their way back from an issue that almost cost them their marriage.
Crystal has found her voice within the group, holding her own after one of the women questions what she stands for. She soon finds she can’t win them all, however, when her need for control gets the best of her and threatens her relationship with her brother.
Introduced to the group through her friend, Kyle, newcomer Annemarie is a force to be reckoned with. A certified registered nurse anesthetist who thrives under pressure and knows her facts, she’s not afraid to call out the women when they speak out of turn. could she have an ED? = suggestive illness
because acid reflux could cause you to have scar tissues in your esophagus = justification for the suggestive illness which was thrown into the discussion while discrediting the account of known illness = implication of having the said illness.

Misappropiation = Dishonestly _[including via omission]_ or unfairly taking something, _[in this case a title of a profession]_ belonging to another for one's own use"
in her own case it becomes even MORE important to make that "distinction" and is extremely required of her given the SETTING she majorly would be operating at; "health care institutions"....
So if it's not _"Hello I am Doctor xyz but do note that this is not an M.D title nor am I a physician"_ then it can't be any other than a misappropiation of her title in a health care setting.

A doctorate "DOES" indeed mean you are a doctor!! but it does NOT mean you are a doctor of medicine or a physician. It would mean you are a doctor of philosophy. and MDs/PHDs are the only two professions in which the professionals are rightly/justly called "doctors" and would have to distinguish these in situations where obvious potentials for mixing up could occur. So instead, using their titles as mid-level providers CRNA, NP, PA etc PHDs etc is more APT than the title of "Doctor" in "health care institutions".
N/B This "confusion" is "global" amongst lay folks so don't blame yourself for the lack of knowledge on it. Hopefully steps being made for more "widespread" education on this particular subject.

After rewatching Paris' documentary here on UA-cam, she reminded me of my mother which cared more about what sociaty said about her, and when i told my parents that i had been SA since the age of 8 to 15 when i told them she and my dad decided that i should not say anything because people would talk about them and me as a failure so then sent me to the USA to a boarding school, they never visited me. Annemarie is NURSE ANESTHETIST. She has a bachelor’s degree in Nurisng (BSN) and also has a dual MASTERS and Doctorate degree as a Nurse Anesthetist (MSN/DNP). She is a DOCTORATE of nursing anesthesia.
Dorit is so self-contradicting and privileged - she claims "liar" is a strong word yet she used the word "attack" on Garcelle and all season long when AnneMarie was falsely accusing Sutton of being a "liar" Dorit had nothing to say about that.

Like others have mentioned, there are clips of Annemarie intentionally misrepresenting what she is and quite literally presenting herself as a doctor. Annemarie clearly has issues. It's weird.

I feel really bad for AnneMarie who was clearly brought in by Kyle to come for Sutton and got caught up in that without backup from Kyle and ended up getting caught in Krystal’s crossfire.

I am confused? Crystal just admitted Annemarie said she was a nurse not a doctor and that there was a diffreence during the initial conversation. So what did she lie about? I get not liking the woman but atleast make your argument make sense. She explained what she was and people were confused but that isn’t on her. She didn’t misrepresent herself, people just misinterpreted what she does.
Also I 100% believe Crystal said she is a housewive when asked what she does. Also ghat is a common question kn discusion. Clearly is what Annemarie does for a living came up then so did what Crystal did. That is how conversations.
Simply put; she _"LIED"_ about calling herself an "anesthesiologist" = wrong title; Instead of a nurse anesthetist/CRNA = appropiate title
And only _"came clean"_ to crystal _"AFTER"_ she led with the fact that she has a sister who is an "anesthesiologist" i.e MD
=====> because she was going to be busted anyway
And followed up with saying _"people would not know the difference between a nurse anesthetist and an anesthesiologist"_
Which on top of being a problematic statement in itself, is a "FALSE" justification for her "falsely representing" as an "anesthesiologist"
A lot of ladies on the cast also could not quite "distinguish" the fact that she is not a doctor which is a problem because they SHOULD!
And the fault would be Annemarie's _FAILURE_ to assertively make this "distinction" on the "introduction" of her profession.
Might interest you to note that multiple bloggers and a huge sect of the fan base that followed her IG page prior to when she was casted officially and in the very beginning when the announcement was made that she would be joining the show, said that her IG handle had "anesthesiologist" written there

Hence she "evidently" "intentionally" blurres the lines and _"falsely misrepresents/misappropiates"_ and all the formentioned goes AGAINST Medical Ethics.
So lets not keep "purposefully" missing the point here in attempts to vilify Crystal, because I'm positive we are a whole lot smarter than that.

I'm also confused by the "AnneMarie/AnnaMarie" thing. I think Dutch people still pronounce it how its spelled. If it were AnnaMarie, they'd spell it that way. I guess i feel like she likes to keep people confused, or she wants to be someone else and that's why she can't just be settled and happy in being a nurse instead of a doctor

In Dutch, 'Anne' is not pronounced 'Ann' but more like 'Ann-uh' , so it is actually 'Annuh-Marie' if you would pronounce it in the Dutch way
Take it from someone who was born and raised in the Netherlands. She's not lying. Personally, I've never heard anyone pronounce it the way it's spelled. It's actually a popular men's name too.
If Bravo has Annemarie come back on the show, they would be killing the franchise. Her personality is so UNLIKEABLE. Let’s call it a wrap for her. So sorry to hear that Annemarie’s adoptive mother died after such a short battle with lung cancer. She looks absolutely devastated at the reunion. Was also saddened to hear her talk about how she reached out to her biological mum and her mum didn’t want to meet her, that just have been totally heartbreaking. I saw that she talked about that on the show to Erika. Really disappointed that the producers chose not to show this. I wasn’t a fan of hers, but having heard the backstory I’m absolutely gutted for her. ❤

Also being stuck on the word "attack" is late because it was the straw that broke the camels back after she was also called aggressive, loud, and a bully all unjustly as well. POC's have peeped Dorit's microagressions way before Garcelle started taking them seriously. Also if garcelle uses the word attack on Dorit or any of the other ladies it can never hold as much weight as the other way around because it's not a stereotype for white women. it is for black women and blacks in general. A whole season and confessional from a white woman herself explaining this and you still don't get it.
Am I the only one that thinks Dorit plays innocent when she knows what she is doing? I felt that way with the whole Lisa/dog thing. I still feel that way now. It's easier to blame Garcelle and think she's being cruel than it is to actually think maybe Dorit did exaggerate the story. Maybe she does do things for the camera. Honestly, her pain of being robbed is no better/worse than Garcelle having to deal with her kids being mistreated and bullied by adults from the show. She basically told Garcelle to get over it. Yet Garcelle is horrible for not showing her compassion.
Crystal is still bland and boring... but on top of it full of herself. Easy to have a business when someone give you the money and runs it for you.

I read in another comment Annemarie was called out by the American Society of Anesthesiologists on social media for misrepresenting herself as such 😬 That being said, Annemarie is a liar. I have so much respect for nurses. Just to apply to a nursing program is a lot of work lol a Nurse Anesthetist is nothing to be ashamed about either. Anesthesiologists & surgeons are the highest paid, most respected, & have hardest job in the medical field. I’d be offended too if Annemarie was purposely lying about being a doctor when she didn’t put in the time, stress, schooling, blood, sweat & tears it takes to successfully complete medical school. And she needs to stop using the terms interchangeably, before she finds herself in trouble with the state licensing & ethics board for lying.

Add the fact that they are actually in high demand and have extensive requirements in "direct" relation to their experience as RNs and a more in depth fund of knowledge, add the fact that they are "providers" themselves which increases their "roles/reponsibilities"... The false representations are unnecessary and actually in "poor taste" as well as the "tussling" when it comes to the naturally existing "heirharchy" in roles/responsibilities in a health care setting.
