- Thanks for joining me for the second and final video of Texture Week here at Teentsy Vintage Studio!
This video features textured mixed media art on two heavy cardstock cards. I used texture paste and stencils to get a cool raised surface on the cardstock, then applied inks and paints to create beautiful, grungy color stories.

Your ink pads are so juicy! Mine are….very much not 😂 even brand new, they are not as juicy as yours! I will have to show it on a video one day. Really enjoying all of this series and your techniques! Love your style! 💜

I have a couple places I get my ink pads from that I trust.
I know when I have bought stamps from “certain places,” they seem to be older, and the quality isn’t there. I’m not sure if that’s what’s going on with your ink pads, but it could be a supplier issue?
@@teentsyvintage I just chalk it up to living in the high mountain desert, and lack of humidity. Even ones I get online don't seem as juicy as yours! Maybe I am the issue though 😂
@@TheHalfassCrafter You may be onto something with the elevation & lack of humidity. Perhaps if you stored them inside a container, they'd keep their moisture longer? Good luck!
What brand glue do you use?
@@mlvandoren Hi! For stick, I like Uhu. For liquid, I like Art Glitter glue in ‘clear.’
