Like a lot of people who live by the numbers and what the "Talking Heads" are says, you think Mayfield has suddenly gotten so much better. But those of us who have followed Baker's career closely, always watching former QBs like Kurt Warner, JT Sullivan, and other QB experts, break down every one of his plays, you know that Baker has ALWAYS played well. What has changed is, he's finally in a system designed to his skill-set; and he's on a team with some discipline and no Divas. Most of Baker's former OCs and HCs are no longer in the NFL for good reasons.
Wait 'til you see what Baker does with a preseason, not splitting reps, and actually throwing to guys he has a season of chemistry with. Also, the O-line is very young and were playing "musical chairs" going into last season. Now they're all a year closer to their prime, and have a year of chemistry. (Last year this O-line unit didn't play ONE SNAP as a unit in the preseason!) Improvement on the O-line will not only allow Baker more time, it'll also help the running game. Think about how crazy it is that Mayfield (a "play-action" style QB) did as well as he did with the WORST running game (YPC), in the NFL. (Defenses didn't care if it looked like he might hand the ball off...)

Rashad would have easily ran for a 1000 yards and 2 more TDs if he hadn't taken a knee on 2 runs last season to keep the clock moving and not running up the score , I would like to see him improve his pass blocking

So, in my mind, our pick at 26 for The Bucs HAS to be Edge or Center, Center for sure if Powers Johnson or Barton are available, otherwise it could be Latu or Chop at Edge. But also, Newton from Illinois could be a sleeper Interior D-lineman if available. Either way we're getting better in the trenches, since we already have the best Safety duo in the league with Whitehead and Winfield and our CB room is actually lowkey top 3, if not #1, even after losing Carlton Davis. I don't see us Grabbing Kool-Aid or Wiggins at CB.
Sedrick Van Pran is also a quality Center I see dropping to the 3rd round for our pick at 89, so losing Barton or JPJ to other teams would not be to big of a hit. Then picking up Brendan Rice at 92 to be WR 3.

They picked up a guard and a center, so the pass and run blocking should be better and that should translate into more offense. If they score 30 points per game they will have a winning season.

Rachad is best when he cuts and bounces outside.

Draft a Center and LG and we will have a top 5 running game. The free agent's we signed at the OLINE suck and if either of them are starting Baker will probably be injured.

Also broke down 3 of C.Robinson's game and he's basically JTS. Very athletic but can't finish. That's against college kids don't think he'll become a pro and be great over night. It will defiantly take a couple years if he does fix that part of his game. I do like Dallas Turner, J.Verse, and L.Latu (injury history is scary) but I'm not sure any of them will be there at 26.

I often hear something about the Bucs. If the Bucs are under hyped, they will be good. If they are hyped, they will under perform. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think the Bucs do as good as last year.

My first 4 picks would be:
1st round: C or G (trade down if you can still get your guy)
    2nd: Corner
    3rd: Edge
    3rd: RB

Baker Mayfield is lucky ro even have a starting position. In fact hes very very fortunate to be playing. And for all the haters that will try to clown on the Browns for letting him go ill say this right now... before this season is over Tampa fans will begin to feel the same way about Baker's performance that the Cleveland front office did when they let him walk. Baker is not an ice water in the veins QB that can calmly lead the team to come from behind victorys in the 4th QTR. Yes, hes going to compete and he'll bust his ass. In Cleveland he was the first player in the building every morning and the last player to leave the building every day. He would come in at 5:304am and see The trainer and be done with his workout before some players had even gotten there. So his work ethic is not a problem. But what Baker does is he loses the big games that the team HAS to win. In 2020 opposing teams discovered that if you pressured him enough in the final minutes of a close game he will throw a pick. Cough up a fimble or go 0-3 and have a to give The ball back. In the divisional playoff game against KC the Browns had knocked Mahomnes out of the game abd and had the ball back down by one with under 1:30 left. All they needed was a FG. KC was blitzing constantly and the situation was too much for Baker. He looked shell shocked by KCs defense and goes 4 and out game over. They needed 25 yards for a FG. In the rematch which was opening day of the next season the same thing. Browns are down 2 points and they get the ball with 3:00 left all Time outs Baker throws a pick. The same year Browns down by 6 and get the ball with 6:00 left. They're driving down field and Baker throws a pick. He did it against the Seahawks and the Chargers also that sesson and the only game he brought his team from behind to win was against Cincinnati which I remember because we all were like...finally. aI became apparent that Baker was not going to take the Browns deep into the playoffs. It was frustrating to watch. Against sub par teams like Arizona or NY Giants hell put up Great numbers but when elite defenses play him then youll see his limitations. I was all about Baker when the Browns Drafted him. I had his jersey and thought the Browns had finally gotten their QB and his rookie year was fun. But when he showed he couldn't win the close games, the one score division games and that defense's had him figured out well that's when Andrew Barry had seen enough. No way we were gonna shell out a boatload of cash to a guy who showed she can't win big games. Tampa fans will find out what we already know...Baker is a mid level QB that's better used as a back up. You'll get tired of making excuses for him. And just remember you read it here first. Im going to copy and date this and bring it out in mid season to see if Tampa Fans are pulling theirc hair out yet. Baker is who he is. Almost everyone thought he was through in the NFL and you'll see why this season. 9n fact ill go so far as to say Baker won't play for the bucks in '25' and maybe not even be on a roster.

Even the greatest players have failures in some big moments, even in sports with less teammate dependency, and I don't think Baker is a future HOF candidate or anything. I just want him to be pretty good at the critical position he plays, and to be good for the team. So far he's done just that.
Sorry you're bitter about the only QB to win a playoff game for you guys in a long time, but in your position I'd be more upset about the guy you did give a boatload of cash to than the one you didn't.
