Thank you for this video. Does the screen work without flickering when S8 takes measurements (every 4 seconds)?
I try to use S8 with Arduino UNO (+5V and GND from the board, which connected to USB), and every time S8 takes measurements, screen (LCD 2004) blinks..and it's looks like that leds on board also blink at this moment..

Thanks for your comment. Well, yes, it does work really good. Without any blink. Maybe the reasons: 1. Power source? 2. When I did CanAirIO, I wrote a special task from FreeRTOS to separated the GUI (Oled and Keyboard) of main loop, with that I have better multi tasking and user experience, also maybe without lags like you mentioned. 3. Check your wiring 4. Check the special pins on your Arduino. For example try to use the Hardware Serial pins joined with your S8, not Software Serial. @@hpsaturn Thank you for an answer! I tried different power sources, different wires, no effect at all. May be using a capacitor in power line might be a solution (read about this somewhere). Btw, i also tried it with esp32wroom - elictrical part works correctly, but i still don't understand what pins should i use, example sketches don't work. How can i find you TG group?

Is boost buck converter really needed? Is possible to connect S8 sensor directly to 5V and GND from ESP32?

Thanks for your question. We need that for S8 and other sensors, because the ESP32 on battery mode only has 3.3v. On the other hand the step-up with enable pin like this, is necessary for example to turn off the sensor when the device is going to deep sleep, without this, the battery is drained when the device is shutdown

Is this a library for sense air?

it is more, in this demo you have: CanAirIO sensor lib that is used to handling S8 sensor, CanAirIO firmware that use this library and is a complete application: Bluetooth low energy for WiFi configuration for example or for mobile tracks with CanAirIO Android app, and other features of course.
