As it should be I think. As an old-guy who's favourite music is from the 60's, 70's, 80's (and a little bit of 90's) this song has great energy and the video somewhat reflects fashion and glamour from the 80's (Think 'The Reflex' by Duran Duran)...somewhat like the way Lady Gaga has brought some of that back.
I love this girl, seen her live TWICE and a million times would never be enough. So happy she's back with new music! So different for her but I love it
Serena is a breath of fresh air. Mostly in that she never has to play on sexuality. She isn't a female sexy singer more of a singer who just happens to be a woman. I know that's not historically unique but it's certainly rare in this generation.

I don't begrudge them their ability to do so, their body their choice, and honestly I would be lying if I said I've never enjoyed the results of their choices. With Serena however there is a sexuality tempered with reality, something more tangible and not as distracting. It's just refreshing to see a woman play of her musical talent without body exploitation in this generation. I can't remember the last one to do so it's been....wow at least twenty years.

I recognize that women like rhianna, Christina Aguilera, and katy perry are all talented musicians who should be able to put our music without rubbing themselves and grinding on things and wearing a ton of makeup while singing about how much you would love to have sex with them. My acknowledgement here is not that I appreciate Serena for what she is doing but that I'm happy to see the younger generation giving an artist a chance that isn't stuffed into the sex doll that sing niche that has been forced on pretty much every prominent female singer in the last fifteen years. with only a handful of exceptions and none of them in the Rock world.
