I only got introduced to Villagers tonight by chance. I was treating our lass to a meal for her birthday, right next door to the venue they were gigging. I googled “what’s on in Leeds” and couldn’t get a ticket due to a sell out! Anyway just as we were finishing our meal a random woman walked from the other side of the restaurant (no way of knowing we were looking for tickets btw) explaining she had 2 spare tickets to “a band that where playing next door cos her son couldn’t make it! love, luck, coincidence, who gives a fuck? It was like both our birthdays at once!
