you start liking him once you find out there's a human being who has suffered much, and talks about his service in the SADF. took me years to understand what went on there. The UN basically destroyed Rhodesia and the rest of Africa.
I hate romance but when it comes to these kind of realistic romance, I am always ready to watch. I find myself in Danny archer though there's no similarities..
