I swear I never get tired of his compositions, nor arrangements of already existing FF songs. To think I started to play FFXIV all because I heard "Torn From the Heavens" at a Distant Worlds concert. And the music instantly was noticeable for me on how beautiful it was. He's truly an inspiration, and his songs will forever make my day bright. Happy birthday dear legend, may you have many years of great composing
this whole team, their goofyness, humor and vicinity to the community made this game what it is and seperates it of at least everything i know and experienced (and i am in gaming since atari). thie music in ff14 stands out on another level, not just gaming wise. i cant tell how many times i got stuck somewhere fishing just listening to the music in dravania or thavnair, listening to the ost´s for hours or some trial theme hits me harder than every bosscrit when i get the lyrics or one of the most beautiful community things, listening to a band in one of the capital cities listening to thunderstruck or warriors of the world (i know, i know tos but it rocks!). soken is not just a big part of ff14´s backbone, he´s truly inspiring, not just because of the music per se, he´s inspiring to forge ahed no matter what, even when its cancer. the goofy-god of music!
Ah finally some awesome Soken content! Phookas thank you for this! I believe I speak for many in the community when I say we need compilations of Soken just being Soken. It just makes your day brighter lol. Looking forward to more in the future!
