- This video shows my 1956 Topps Roberto Clemente baseball card that I purchased at the Sports Card Showcase at the Washington Crown Center in Washington, PA. With this trading card, I completed my 1956 Topps Pittsburgh Pirates team set. Thank you @brycebergen2676 for the opportunity by putting together this amazing over 500 table card show. I will upload full purchases from the Sports Card Showcase when we get closer to the next big shows August 17th and 18th.
I upload a TTM video on Monday, and I upload an autograph and/or trading card video on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Congratulations on completing your Pittsburgh Pirate set. Great pick ups of some really beautiful cards Take care
Thank you. It’s so satisfying to start completing those team sets.
Nice, I am working on topps master runs for the Pirates and steelers from the 50s to present. Great Job!
Oh wow! That’s awesome! The whole process is definitely a marathon, not a sprint. I hope it’s going well for you.
Fantastic run of 1956 topps pirates cards. The Vern Law and Bob Friend. Man they had some great pitchers. Never gets old seeing a 56 Clemente! Enjoyed.
You are correct about their pitching. I’m so happy to finally have that card.
Awesome cards, thanks for sharing. Congrats on completing the team set
Thank you. I was very happy to share my second year Clemente with everybody.
Awesome 56 pickups Love the Clemente
It’s so pretty. Thank you!

Bob Skinner is the best card you purchased lol
Not quite.

This card sort of found me. I’m so happy to finish this team set.
Congrats on the Clemente! Beautiful set
Thank you. It is a beautiful set.
Always satisfying to complete a goal.👍Congratulations.
Yes, it is! This was not one of the goals that I was expecting to complete either.
Wow, HUGE pickup!!!! That 56 looks great, congratulations! Also love the other 56 cards! I thought about doing the pirates sets, since I have the pirates 62 set already, but maybe I’ll do a project like that after I run out of Clemente cards.
Thank you. I knew you would like that video. There’s always another project awaiting you once you complete your current projects. I’ll be excited to see where both of us go with that.
AWESOME to finish the Pirates team set now keep going! The Clemente will take a while for me to get. I will be getting closer to a 1 and be happy with that.
I’m so happy to get this card and finish the team set. This card found me.
Boom 💥. I’m chasing his rc
I will be so happy if I can find a nice enough rookie card for a decent price. I hope you find one.
Fantastic addition! Congrats, it looks real clean from here. You sound real happy about picking it up, which is the best feeling. Enjoy it forever!
You’re right! You would know a thing or two about how satisfying it can be to get those old cards. I’m not much into grading, but I think I will get that card graded eventually as it stays with me forever.
Been subscribed for a bit but first time commenting. Congratulations on completing the Pirates run. Beautiful Clemente. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so happy that the 56 Clemente got you to break the ice with a comment.
Congratulations Steven! What?? Wow!! What?? Do you? That is super cool!! Congratulations again!
Thank you! I really appreciate the way you worded that.
Now you just have to get all the white back and grey back variations. 😉 Congrats again, sir! Very happy for you. What a great team set.
No no no no no I need to do something more important and pick out my favorite uniform.
use sgc to grade the Clemente , that should still grade out at least a 5 I would think maybe 6. centering is good corners not bad , alot of the shows have graders there , o least you can drop them off there , Main line has sgc there usually and they are best imo for the 50's and older cards, and if it grades 5 or 6 it will add to the value of card , I think you got a great deal on that
If the card did not have a little surface wrinkle near the brim and forehead, I would definitely get it graded. That being said, I probably will get it graded anyway for peace of mind.
@mathbowler2782 I most Def would , I sent one in that I had bought that was graded originally by a sketchy company and unfortunately found out the card was trimmed very slightly. , Broke my heart,
But even with the small crease it should grade out ok ,considering it is a 1956. That's why I said SGC as they are the company for those years of cards. They have been grading the old cards for decades.
Like I said just by what I saw in the video , it should grade out fairly well , a grade 5 or 6 is really good for old cards like that .
Wow that's is awesome math congrats on your Set 👏😊
Thank you. It’s so wonderful to finish that set.
