I bet the reason the camera moves to the left on the N64 controller is because the button you’re using is one of its yellow C buttons, which are normally used for camera controls

One hint for using the stick and also forward movement. I also use this bindings since I began playing rocket league.
On my Xbox One Controller I can use the forward movement In an window of 120 degrees. After that the input only see the turning right or left movement without forward movement. So holding hard right will not move my car right.
