It's Hachi
This time I dried and dyed the indigo leaves that I had planted in the garden.
I dyed not only the generated thread, but also the indigo slap dyeing, the indigo leaf dyed thread, and the handkerchief, which I introduced earlier, and compared the dyeing.
□ Material
・ Dried indigo leaves ... 100g
・ Water ... 3 liters x 3
・ Soda ash 6g x 2
・ Hydroconk 6g x 2
□ Rough procedure (please see the video as well)
① To remove lye and dirt, boil for 10 minutes so as not to boil, and discard the liquid.
・ Dried indigo leaves ... 100g
・ Water ... 3Ⅼ
(2) Boil the decontaminated leaves for 10 minutes so as not to boil them too much to make a dyeing solution.
・ Indigo leaves with dirt removed
・ Water ... 3L
・ Soda ash ... 6g
・ Hydroconk ... 6g * Drained material was soaked in the dyeing solution
③ The leaves used in ② were boiled in the same way to make a dyeing solution.
・ The indigo leaf used in ②
・ Water ... 3L
・ Soda ash ... 6g
・ Hydroconk ... 6g
④ Boil for about 10 minutes so as not to boil too much while removing bubbles from the dyeing solution made by boiling, wash and dry.
