Over thirty days, I was diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Infection, two weeks later with Pneumonia. Now diagnosed with shortness of breath and cough. I have extreme fatigue and weakness, high heart rate and difficulty breathing. I've been to hospital ER three times over one month and have been refused admittance (was told beds are being saved for covid patients). I have all the symptoms of covid but keep tested negative. I'm at my wits end. I'm tired of feeling horrible. I can barely walk and function.

I believe I am a long hauler that had my first Moderna shot 3 days ago and had a wicked response. Chills, uncontrolled shaking fevers and night sweats. I'm hopeful this is a sign of a good immune response and that all the awful symptoms I've had for a year will come to an end.

Can the vaccine set the long hauler immune system into overdrive?

I have POTS and other Dysautonomia’s. I had pneumonia in both lungs, septice from what I understood around liver and kidneys according to labs but I was pretty out of it so I barely remember exact details just hearing other organs being affected. I was not vented but in isolation 12 days. Still can’t breath well, hair falling out by handfuls, memory loss worse than the brain fog I already had, extreme cramps/pain in muscles and joints, migraines. I had a pulmonary test in early Feb with then 52% lung capacity. It’s improved but I have days of feeling like I can breathe better and no pain but then fall back to a week of pain in my back under my ribs or in sternum area and actually raise my breast to try to extend my diaphragm to get that big deep breath I need.
What are you finding with POTS patients with such similar symptoms except the pneumonia and breathing issues.

Thanksgiving '21. Thank you for this informative and practical video. I'd be interested in a follow-up. I'm a long hauler. Initial infection late Mar. '20. I think I was reinfected a couple of different times last year. Currently have a chronic cough, fatigue, some dubious other issues. Interesting theory about the shunting process. I feel as though a little bit of virus has gotten stuck deep in my bronchial area that can't get out for whatever reason. Almost like a little viral splinter that needs to be removed. Inflammation appears to be part of the problem. Maybe steroids might help? What's the current take on the new anti-virals from Merck and Pfizer? Does Davis accept people from other areas than Sacto? I'm in Santa Clara. Thanks for any constructive feedback.

I've had covid long for 2 years, neurological, early onset Altzheimer's-like symptoms, as well as shortness of breath.

What about people who have been vaccinated and then contract Covid anyway plus develop the Covid long haul symptoms?

My husband got c19 and passed it to me! I was supposed to have hip surgery in February but I had done two days ago, and I can’t honestly tell you if I’m totally exhausted from the Covid or from the surgery. What can I do to keep my mind sharp?

I would love to see this as a regular series. Which FB group are you getting these questions from?. I belong to all of them but spend most of my time in the Slack group.

You must be using a far better antibody test than I received. I have seen a company hawking T cell antibody tests. I am suspect.
