I listened to and loved Accept back in the 80's and early 90's, and I gotta say, this band is still great. Mark is a fine replacement for Udo, hitting all the right notes, and the boys are as tight as ever. Love the showmanship, too! I would love to see these guys live and I can't say that about too many of my old favourites from "back in the day". Good stuff!
First off everybody is entitled to their own opinions. It's okay to miss and prefer a different vocalist. I get frustrated when people talk about missing Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage when the original vocalist Jesse Leach came back to the band. You like what you like and don't what you dont. That doesn't make you a hater.

Try looking up a band called TT Quick form the late 70's early 80's Mark was the singer & frankly he sounded like UDO back then. Got a chance to see both bands back in the day & I must say Mark is probably the best replacement for UDO theree ever could be.
Hey Mark Deas, as soon as I saw the cover of Metal of Honor on YT I remembered that a friend of mine had it back in the day and as soon as I heard it I knew I had heard it back in the 80’s. They were such an underrated band. They fucking rocked... I am listening to it right now for the second time. Thanks for letting me know about them. Rock on my brother..!
and Obviously Mark was chosen by Accept and took the roll. Accept saw something in him that made them decide he was the one to replace UDO. And UDO did not want to re join Accept. His fucking loss. Cheers Mark. He has taken the job and go see the live I can hardly tell the difference between him and UDO anyways sometimes. And the original stuff with Mark is killer. UDo would have sucked on it.

Accept have the same problem as judas priest had when ripper was frontman, he had a greater vocal range than rob halford, but halford was/is "the man". With accept, they have got a good replacement, and altogether the band are very tight, and the drummer is exellent.
