    Hola amigo, me gusto tu video y no me quiero quedar con la inquietud de saber qué caña es con la que lanzas las 130 yardas?…podrías escribir por favor ,el nombre completo de la caña, con la información técnica : cuanto pesa , longitud, acción, resistencia, para empezar a buscarla en las tiendas de pesca y gracias por la información, saludos de Oaxaca-México.

    Feel like the cast on the ugly stik wasn't as good but hell 80 yards I'll take it. Glad for your video. I'm new to fishing as my own hobby as apposed to when my dad took me when I was younger.

    What is max weight the fins rod can throw ? Split looks like 70-30 not 60-40?

    How much does that rod set you back? It's a nice rod, but custom rods tend to cost a fortune! Anyway, thanks for the demonstration!

      Thank you for watching they range from 400 to 550. I wanted a rod that was light and I could cast a mile. I see it a value to me when I’m fishing three times a week.

    • @grandwonder5858
      @grandwonder5858 2 роки тому

      @@saltwatermercs If you fish three times a week it is definitely worth it to invest in a $500 rod! You definitely got your money worth! Have you ever used an Okuma Rockaway HD rod? It only costs between $99 to $140 for a 8.5' to 12' rods. They are super light weight, sturdy, has a great tip, and fish just like a one-piece rod but they are inexpensive for their quality! I don't think you could get a higher quality rod for the money!
      I bought one that just arrived to me yesterday and I'm gonna get one more! I already got one of the original Rockaway rod without the HD that is lighter and thinner than the HD series but it is good for lighter lures. The 9' HD is good for bigger lures and chunking baits. The 9 footer that I got is good for lures from 1 oz to 4 oz. I can't wait to take it out for a fishing trip! As soon as the reel that I just ordered arrive to me I will start fishing with it.
      Thanks for responding to my questions. You're such a cool cat, you never failed to answer people's questions! I like that about you a lot! Take care, my friend! I look forward to seeing you doing some fishing and I'm gonna follow your fishing channel!

      @@grandwonder5858 I actually used it before unfortunately I broke on me the tip broke off. If you want a good rod for under 100 dollars get yourself a penn prevail 11 foot 🙌🏾🙌🏾

      @grandwonder5858 2 роки тому

      @@saltwatermercs Sorry to hear that my man! I'm going to use my 9 footers for lure fishing so I think it's all right. My friend has an 11' Prevail and it is sturdy, but I don't like the way it cast lures. I think it is too stiff to fish with the lures that I have, most of them are 2 ounces and under. With the Rockaway I could cast those light lures farther away than the Prevail and I could work the lures better. The Prevail is good for chunking baits though. I am also going to order me an 11' Lamisglas, which is also good for chunking baits and fishing with heavy lures. I really like those 30/70 split rods and the HD and the Lamisglas are both 30/70 split.

    Ugly Stik is never going to be the best option. But if you need something that just works and can take some abuse then they are good. Better quality is always more comfortable and better casts
