The Idea of a (pure) spotting setup works quite well on BC-25t AP and Char Futur as well. You can get up to 45+% Camo with Exhaust and you will still always have the firepower to kill any LT you might be confronted with. And it is mega useful to have such a (secondary) setup in battles without any LTs at all.
before T10 light tanks and the possibility of having 2 sets of equipments it was viable for T10 meds to have a spotting or half spotting build. Now, in games where there aren't light tanks, I don't understand why some people say that having a spotting 2nd build is a bad idea. It's even more viable now that it use to be !
It makes sense to have spotting equipment set on mediums with a high camo value, like udes 15/16, bat chat, but having spotting equipment on centurion ax or e50m is just not worth it
Spotting has always been an important secondary role for mediums. Obviously they aren't as good at it as dedicated scouts, but it's important for mediums to be able to spot for themselves as well as for their allies. Map changes and the equipment changes have certainly affected the meta heavily, but the standard build for just about every medium used to be optics, rammer, vstab. It's harder to justify that hybridization in the current meta, especially because scouts are now so much more powerful with the optics/cvs/lne setups that it doesn't make sense alot of the time to forgo gun handling and damage dealing equipment in favor of some of the mediocrity of a hybrid setup. But if you commit to the bit with CVS and optics on high-tier mediums, it actually becomes disgustingly powerful. With full crew skills, you can push close to 500 m of view range on basically every tier 9 or 10 medium, and on vision heavy maps, that's a tremendous boon to your team to basically add an extra scout. The best games I had when I was 3 marking my T-62A recently were when I used CVS/Optics/Turbo on vision maps. And if that tank wasn't so damn slow I would have dropped the turbo for vents so I could increase my VR even more. Mediums tend to have really high base VR and enough camo to make passive scouting work. And it works fantastically if you know what you're doing.
@shark_de_mique Disagree. You may not be a great scout, with one of them, but in a late game setting, it would help you spot a camping TD and not get straight farmed.
Yep. My expierence usually is watching 4 team mates nin stop miss the 5 tanks I have lit. We get steam rolled because every1 can't aim. Then they blame it in me not spotting and use my low assist to flame me in the DMs... can't aim and pull the trigger for them.
Yeah I mean you gotta admit, even though it is easy to blame the team for camping at the back, you gotta have a couple people camping to support the people who are pushing, even if the person understands if they should be camping or not in the situation.
Just means they were all using gold. 😂 cause when a light tank yells at me for missing, its not because i miss but because im bouncing shots. I only carry 5 gold rounds and only use em when i have to

I 3 marked batchat with cvs, optics and exhaust for spotting, and vents, improved aiming, and vert stab, for games where there was already plenty of spotters, or in city maps, so I needed to do damage.
i 3 marked the bour off playing it like a lt. with cvs, optiocs, exhaust as well. Not bad equipment just a different playstyle if u want exhaust on your mt.
Pretty simple why you go spotted: Double bush gives max 80% Camo, so if AX with his 420m Base viewrange got somewhere close to 500m viewrange with equipment etc he can spot you from about 80-100 meters if you fire - even through bushes
That bush in the suthern base is one of the best ways to break encirclements. Unless there's someone smart enough to blindfire there, the enemies will not know from where they are getting spotted. The bushes on this map really offer nice comebacks if played properly. The entire K line was exposed to the CVS, this is why it's such a powerful piece of equipment. Batchat is still very powerful if played well.
I've been using CVS on medium forever. My team thinks I'm crazy. First step on the kill chain: spot the enemy. If you want to leave that up to your team's tomato LT... up to you.
I just think that optics is slighly better in general. But maybe not. Since meds have pretty good camo when standing still and TDs as well, it basically works against moving targets as well. But where everything fails is char futur with camo net and bino (strv, t95, ...) because some people play very passive in general.
When you we’re spotted at the beginning… The bush you were “inside of “ doesn’t provide camo when you fire. You would have to be behind that bush to receive the camo benefit. The bush you were inside of, provides camo for the your tank until you fire… when you fire your camo is greatly reduced unless you’re behind the bush. Thus, you only had single protection bush when you fired…and that single bush protection was from the bush the enemy tank was behind.
Early in the match when you didn't know how you got spotted, you were in the open in the field, enemy tanks were on the ridge across from you that could have spotted you, and that doesn't even mention the enemy tanks possibly hiding in the town doing nothing but spotting the tree line of the woods.
I mean, having the second loadout option pretty much screams for it. I was baffled when WG mentioned that very few players even use that second choice, which is critically important for spotting builds on 5-6 maps. Imagine you have a Bourrasque and you spawn on Phrokorovka and there's no light tank in the match...with CVS build you could have a monster game.
It's more like "use CVS on bushy maps with your MTs whenever there's no LT". A lot of people already do this, including me. Nothing extraordinary, just logical thinking. But I recommend using CVS only with high-camo MTs like the BC, UDES, Pro65. MTs with 30%+ camo (w/o Exhaust) are the tanks that can bear this kind of risk.
My experience is that it's very problematic. There are still people using camo net and binoculars on heavies or assault TDs such as T95. So when you get at best case scenario 50m away from them, you are dead. Well, you will outspot heavies, but not T95, strv or char futur with this setup. But there are maps like dreaded overlord where this setup can significantly help to win a battle. On Prochorovka, it's very risky imho, but might be still worth trying with bottom tier medium that can't do much damage on it's own, but can take one or two higher tier enemies down.

it will get some touches
твій бій більш показовий по обладнанні, але знову таки = адекватна команда підтримала тебе, а ніхто не упоровся проїхати повз кущ чи кинути блайндшот хоча би.
That was so beautiful
Bro this title is so funny 😂
😎
camo dont work for sure
Is it really a bad setup? I find it Okay personnaly :/
Didn't understood if it was a joke title, to mock the qb's haters or if it's really bad setup from QB x)
It's great setup if you know what you are doing
11:11 buahahahahahahahahaha
SENT A MESSAGE !!!! YOU VS Quicky !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
False claim, you used stabs instead of LNE, thus u hit better while having worse camo. It's the better setup, but still not QB's nonsense-combo.
What a pirate 😮
Try not to get banned from QBs socials for ‘bringing YOUR fans to the QB empire and YOUR fans gloating even though he literally makes more money from you promoting his video’
So, did he use optics ? 😅
top play
The spotting Mechanics are BROKEN now in this game... I've learned you CANNOT "be as close" to tanks anymore when you shoot, even when double bushing.
Constantly being spotted now in bushes when shooting when I never used to be.
Bro, we just released a clip of me explaining how it works. Please let me know if you will understand it better
@@iyouxintwitch ... I get how it works, I'm just saying it all doesn't work like it used to. You can't use the same bushes to do the same things etc.
@@leeuniverse
I agree.
For some reason I get spotted now while I wouldn't have been before.
QB 😊
this is quickybabys win not yours lmfao jk jk, gj ggg
QB has nothing to do with this equipment being used. many do and did long before QB started promoting it. It can work in certain situations very well and why not use it then? I know some think that damage is all that counts and sure, why not, but why not also some other ways to play the game? but as a content, sure, many will come here to rant about QB, so it will sell:)
Top best cheater game
tbf qb has way more absurd equipment setups than this
Anyone else annoyed with QB's never ending talks😂😂...he cant stay silent for a single second😅😅
Well seeing as it's his job as a streamer to talk and engage with his audience, of course he's going to be talking a lot.
I bet your the type of person who complains about firefighters putting out fires too quickly.
@@leewilliams5559 calm down kid,,anyone who knows qb will know that this is a joke,,dont be too sensitive kid
quickybaby is kinda overrated
I got the best spotting on this map with elc 10k
you got spotted because the damn game wants it to end as fast as possible...camo is useless nowadays
Watching people like this play is the reason I stopped playing the game all together.
