Please feel free to return for a longer visit to truly discover the depth of the city and its great hospitality, sights, history, culture, food and "hygge"... Enjoy your world cruise. Greetings from a Dane, go USA! ;)
Thank you for the warm invitation! Copenhagen absolutely charmed us, and we’re already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay. There’s so much to explore. Until then, greetings back to Denmark from two grateful travelers. 😊 Skål!
Lovely city! Thank you for taking us with you on your journey. Sure wish, as I am sure you do too, that the cruise line would give more time in port. Your videos have been amazing!
Thank you so much! The quick stops definitely leave us wanting more, but we’re so glad you’re along for the ride with us! There’s just so much to see, and we’re happy we could share a glimpse of it with you. 😊
You don’t have to take the hop on bus. You can buy tickets at the pier by the public bus stop using you credit card. Also, there is an app you can buy tickets in. Actually there are several app solutions for Copenhagen transport. Soon, the plan is, that you can buy tickets by just tapping in with a credit card on the bus. The locals don’t use cash. We use cards and apps. Also that whole ‘industrial’ harbour area you start off in is undergoing a huge change. Within the next few years it’ll be a new neighbourhood for the city.
We’d love to come back for a longer stay, really get into the heart of the city, and enjoy the local food and drink at a slower pace. Visiting during the shoulder season sounds perfect-fewer crowds and more time to take it all in.
What a lovely city! I loved the waterways- they look so clean and fresh compared to Amsterdams which look a bit brown and muddy. You've got a lof of re-visits to do :)
Surprised you saw that hotel! I have seen several Hotel Astoria’s around the world and it does remind me of my childhood home!! Stay tuned in our next port where I have some nostalgia of Astoria for sure!

Nice job editing. BTW, did the Hotel Astoria make you homesick?
