India would need a large transport ✈️ airplane with blueprints and support from the manufacturer to modify the plane to carry and control a jet engine. It's not just a mechanical attachment and structural strengthening but that the controls of the entire aircraft have to be heavily modified to accommodate the test engine. That will not come cheap 💰💰💰 regardless of which country the transport aircraft comes from (US / Russia / EU). Unfortunately India does not produce it's own transport aircraft of the size needed to use as a flight test bed 🛏️.

Its really not at all a Big news: 1. Facility construction started in Sep and will be operational by Oct 2025, which is 10 months after. So it is far and going by GTRE and our Airforce history, there would be delays. Because both are headless chickens. 2. Now Kaveri Engine after burner thrust is 75KN, then this facility is of 130KN. We took over 40 yrs to reach 40KN, then how many years it will take to reach 130KN is anybody's guess. So this facility is a farse. 3. DRDO speaks too much and always speaks beyond its capacity. It is not about capability but capacity.

1. Facility construction started in Sep and will be operational by Oct 2025, which is 10 months after. So it is far and going by GTRE and our Airforce history, there would be delays. Because both are headless chickens.
2. Now Kaveri Engine after burner thrust is 75KN, then this facility is of 130KN. We took over 40 yrs to reach 40KN, then how many years it will take to reach 130KN is anybody's guess. So this facility is a farse.
3. DRDO speaks too much and always speaks beyond its capacity. It is not about capability but capacity.

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has approved an investment of USD 25 million (approximately Rs 212 crore) to support affordable healthcare in India. This investment is part of the projects approved by the DFC for the first quarter of the US fiscal year (January to March 2025).
In a statement released on Friday, the DFC highlighted the investment, noting that the $25 million funding will be directed to the Somerset Indus Healthcare India Fund III. This fund aims to support small and medium-sized healthcare companies, enhancing access to and affordability of quality healthcare, particularly in Tier 2 and 3 cities in India.
