We are doing the same things as you are. Getting all ready to go here in less than a month our selves. Like to see what other farmer do in the winter and other parts of our great country.
Awesome. I hope you have a good year.
LOL at the duel wielding ball peen hammers. 👍🏻
It didn’t want to come off
@@RockyMountainFarmer I know that strife. When things don't want to cooperate, it's time to get the 'persuader' out. lol, good job.
I think it's cool 😎 that your brothers work so well together. Most families have a hard time working together without grumpy brothers.
It can be hard sometimes
Great videos. FYI I have the same welder , I sit a small fan blowing on the fins into the welder to help it cool works great . You will get more weld time out of it. Also when it overheats it will reset quicker . Hope this little tip helps you Thanks for sharing . 👍👍👍
Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, long videos are more interesting, you did a huge work

Good video. It's nice to see potato planter work. So, the oldest Airecup that is getting sold is 20 years old? How old is the other one? It's neat to see that you guys are sticking with the Lockwood Airecups. I am interested with how the new one will compare to the old. Thanks.
The other one is a 2009. We are all excited to see the new one work
i like longer one
Awesome thanks for the input
It looks like a bigger shop would be on your list you need?
Definitely on the list
like the long videos
Thanks for the input
Did you get the water problem fixed in that cellar?
Yes we did. We hope to get those potatoes out soon
What is the row spacing for spuds? If it’s different than corn, do you use different tractors specific for each crop?
Most russet potatoes in Idaho are 34” or 36” spacing. Most guys use the same tractor for multiple crops and if needed they change the tire spacings
Ours are 36 inches. We use our tractors for almost all of our crops with the exception of the track machines. We can’t use them in hay because it tears up the ground when you turn.
Have you shipped the cellar that flooded?
We haven’t yet because of the sprouting in the other cellar
Show us some good spuds being loaded out to see the difference.
I will when we get into some. We have to get out the bad cellars first
Do you run 34" or 36" rows?
36
That new 12 row Spudnik planter won't fit in the shop unfolded. You are getting a Spudnik aren't you?
Hopefully next year but not the 12 row
Is it not possible to weld the holes in the suction pipes closed, instead of closing them with duct tape.
We don’t have the ability to weld that type of metal.
When you will start potato planting
We will start planting potatoes around the end of April. Weather permitting at least.
We usually shoot for 19th of April

How’s the potato market?
Last year was good. I know this year is down a little bit.
Sprouts are not any fun to scoop. We were old school pick lookwoods and before those we had Logan cup planters. Still can hear the click click click. NICE spud bake that bad boy up!
Your right sprouts are not fun. We will bake some someday
Longer videos with a verity of subject matter.
