nice. I just bought the Yi 4k myself and was thinking of getting this gimbal or the Hohem iSteady Pro 2. The G6 is about 50$ more but seems to be worth it. Can you control the camera with the G6 gimbal. I read it controls the GoPro but not sure about a Yi camera. Merci beaucoups :)
Unfortunately not.Only certain GoPro models. The G6 is more sturdy than the Hohem and water resistant. I hope you have more luck with your Yi because on mine one of the built in mics went dead so I only have audio on one channel.
its very disapointing that non of those gimbals seem to work properly. if you never had one youre probally happy but if you look closely you can see the microshakes while walking. camera stabilisation may help but it only conceals the problem. my diy gimbal isnt flawless but is does a much better job and even the camera stabilisation turned off.

did you manage to connect you Yi4k to the gimbal so you could use the picture/video bottons?

@@woodyamsterdam I can control modes with the G6 and even motion tracking. Only parameters settings doesnt work on the G6

Right... lol! I can see that the video is still processing, hence the poor quality. You should check back after 30 minutes or so.

Hi. Is it possible to turn on recording for Yi 4K+ from gimbal level?
For now only for the Gopro 5 and 6 and a Sony model but it seems that they are developing a firmware upgrade for other action cams too.

Hahahahaha! Een gimbal is een stabilizer waardoor je met je camera kan lopen/rennen zonder dat het beeld alle kanten op schokt.

Yes I agree. The effect was less than expected. It might also be caused by the shabby I.S. of my rather cheap (€100,-) action cam.
