Hi lifeonwheels, thats so funny. I dont have paraplegia but i do really love dont sleep with legs skin to skin. With something between it is much more comfortable, a pillow or quilt. Really soft and pleasant. Love sabrina

Your 'normal' mattress looks adequately soft (anti-decubitus quality in an other language/ pressure-relieving). If you stay on a harder one I presume - to do away with pillow under the ankle - your socks would be padded to protect the ankle underneath?!

I've got a floor to chair transfer video in my collection. The bed is a bit high to go from the floor, so easier to get back into the chair first

Do you get pain around your hips?
My boyfriend usually experience pain around his hips
