Good interviewer. I've seen several related talks by Kent Beck, but here he articulates more insights. Not just because of the probing questions, but also because Luca is brief and to the point and lets Kent answer at length without interrupting.
I agree so much with the take that you are responsible for your work. I always compare it with craftsmen, if they would work the same way as certain developers they would be out of business very soon. But for developers it is somehow ok to be sloppy and deliver low quality.
I love TDD, but I believe too much pressure is put on programmers. Unrealistic deadlines, overtime, constant context switching and juggling numerous tasks, arrogant leet code colleagues, cargo cult practices that makes no sense. It's not like we turn into diamonds under pressure. No, we get obese, get health problems and then we die. It didn't use to be this bad, but somehow the industry is devolving into a oppressed code monkey hellscape.
I am a great fan of the agile manifesto. But I think that two intelligences mix in software projects: notorious tactical dominance intelligence vs. problem-solving intelligence. Like in the fairytale with the scorpio that kills his carrier across the river - and then drowns, too.

Incredible talk here from Kent Beck. I have never heard any of his perspectives before in this field. Brilliant guy
he is a legend!
It includes English subtitles, making it friendly for non-native English speakers! !!
