I do like the behind-the-scenes insights that Jeff tells us I just don't like when he tells them in the middle of someone else's story
He never lets people finish what they are saying. It's painful to watch.
@@pixpusher
Amazing how they let him stuff his face, and he can still out-talk everyone else on the panel.
Jeff just need to pop like 20mg instant release adderall before every podcast
I really really appreciate Suzie - she does a great job managing it all, keeping it on track AND offering input
I was gonna comment first but Jeff interrupted me
by the way did you know you were never first, it was ONLY Jeff and Larry from the very beginning 😄
Omg
He's so fucking obnoxious
I can’t watch because of that. Like wtf. Susan needs to set him straight.
😂😂😂😂absolutely genius comment
I agree with Larry! One restaurant for drinks, dinner, dessert.
i went to sushi train with the misso, the desserts were lacking there and a dessert place was only down the road - definitely worth it - team suzie
@@leroygardner8529
But that is desert AFTER you eat. Who wants to go to a bar hungry, thinking about food, order a drink, and then wait some amount of time before setting off the restaurant where you have in indeterminate wait for your food there?
I do think it's a man versus woman perspective but it does seem like an incredibly pointless exercise to drive to one place then another to do something you can just do at one place. Women don't think about practicalities though.
@@JohnBloggs-m8l
Not really. Have you ever gone and eaten at a great Chinese restaurant, and then looked at the dessert menu? Fortune cookies and green tea ice cream?
@@justgivemethetruth nope cos I rarely eat out. I eat Chinese all the time but I don't dine in, I just get take away. This is a middle upper class Californian elite issue like alot of Larry's issues. It's not something the everyman can relate to. I also don't have a partner so I've never had to worry about a woman wanting to go to two seperate locations just cos she's feeling romantic. You don't need a drink at one location and then a meal at another, it's a pain in the arse.
Jeff has a great memory!! It's amazing how many details he remembers
Jeff’s other podcast is called "By The Way" lol
Already been done.
*Sneaky edit by OP so now my comment doesn't make sense 😆
So is his comedy special
Yawn
Every one of these breakdowns is brilliant and don't hate on Jeff and his interruptions - this is him and we love him !!
Speak for yourself! It's annoying AF.
AF
Laura is great! Very nice addition
By the way, I think Jeff does really want to give ppl their props and I ❤️him for it! It’s quite hysterical the way he does it though! ❤️ya Susie and Jeff!!
0:29 -- The expression on Cheryl's face is priceless.
So glad you guys have the video version as well, Susie looks so beautiful here!! By the way, really hope you guys invite Julia Louis-Dreyfus to talk about some of the episodes she's been on, it would be amazing ❤
Jeff 20:50 “Not a big regret but a bipolar regret” 😂😂
One of these episodes Susie is going to get through a sentence w/o Jeff interrupting. I'm rooting for you Susie!
33:13 - Cheryl's beating
The begging of this episode showcases curbs styles. Instead of simply deciding to get take-out and get the ball rolling in the show, they have a realistic humorous reason to do it.
I think people are mistaking Jeff’s passion and love for the show for selfishness. I understand and can agree that he interrupts too much and can’t stay on topic but it comes from a place of wanting to give information about the show and truly express a behind the scenes look of how someone who worked on the show looks at it. Susie is great at keeping the podcast on track though (and if you’ve ever had to speak on a podcast as you’d know how hard it is to keep a conversation going) so she deals with Jeff a lot and can steer the conversation in a great way. I think people need to acknowledge Jeff isn’t a great podcaster but wants to share his love for the show both on and off screen but can’t communicate it well. I’m still biased though as I can see the small connections he makes in his head and wants to speak on them before he loses his train of thought like in the beginning. All in all Jeff should work on coming back to points but I see where he’s coming from.
After the episode was done being talked about I can see why he was interrupting too much. My apologies
Little Big League is a fantastic movie. Another great podcast!
Shut your mouth, Jeff. Sending masculinity back 100 years here.
😂
Jeff on his best behavior cause he knows those women won't take his shit
The o y time it makes sense, is if the dinner place doesn't have good dessert
more laura
Couldn’t get through this one. Jeff is unbearable
Just accept Jeff for who he is, he means no malice.
life is so complicated when you have to deal with 2 valets .. these people exist in a different wealthy universe .. and besides having a drink and then driving invites all kinds of problems ... a dui will ruin your life ...
How there are 2 women there, yet Jeff manages to talk the most? Omg he need to stfu for a bit 😂
'hat in hand' .. to behave submissively .. to plead for something like a pardon or a favor .. it alludes to the old custom of removing one's hat as a sign of respect .. serfs & royalty ..
Imagine being Larry's assistant
35:41 can you please tell her to stop interrupting.
These would be so much more enjoyable if Jeff wasn't on them. He talks too much and constantly, and about stuff that nobody cares about. And the constant "by the way"...
Nobody cares about? There are plenty that want to hear that trivia
3:53 Jeff 'It's Really True' Garlin
Omg Jeff's interruptions are INSUFFERABLE! I'm 2 mins in and I can't watch anymore, such a shame! Enjoy everybody, cya.
P would of been better the c P is questioning his man hood
damn I want to watch this show...but Jeff, God love him, he makes it impossible with all of his interruptions and diversions, he makes it impossible to watch. had to switch off. sorry.
Same! I hoped that season 2 might improve but it's just too frustrating and distracting at this point.
I came to say the same thing, it's became impossible to enjoy. Susie should scream at him and put make him shut up
Jeff keeps forgetting to take his "By the way" meds.
It’s hilarious watching Susie trying to keep everything on track.
She has a lot of patience!
Make Laura a regular !
OVER 25 "BY THE WAYS" by the 17 minute marker this is absolutely insane.. LOVE THE SHOW.. HATE listening to Jeff over talk everyone on this podcast
Laura is the third wheel we need! She really balances everything out.
As a writer
Susie asks what Laura's aspirations were and Jeff IMMEDIATELY interrupts and never lets her answer. ffs jeff
I can't take it. He really sucks
It's getting worse than ever with Jeff, JFC.
It's too bad they recorded these so many months before releasing them because they're not able to take any viewer feedback (AKA shocking Jeff with a teeny volt of electricity every time he interrupts!)
jeff: "can i just say something..."
"NOOO!!!!"
It's a shame Jeff Garlin can't shut up. A damn damn shame. If I'm not mistaken this is a Curb Your Enthusiasm History podcast, not a Jeff Garlin History podcast, right? Would've really loved to hear more from Laura. She seems super nice, knowledgeable and interesting but Garlin barely let her talk in 45 minutes! Unbelievable... I was watching the ep and shook my head in disbelief and frustration the whole time! Why invite her on the show in the first place if Garlin basically just wants to hear his annoying voice cut people off all the time? I don't get it. I really don't. Where's the moderator on this thing? Shame. A real damn shame.
To be fair he does encourage her to interrupt if she thinks of something to say. But he was the co creator of this whole project you can't expect him to be completely silent he knows the most about the show, Susie was only an actor on the show, Jeff did alot of the casting so he's got more to say.
It's more than that there's a social dysfunction there and I'm sure he can't help it I think a lot of it is due to his ADHD however he's got to learn to control it. He turns everything back into himself and how he helped this or how he pitched that... he wants credit for everything he's ever done and it would be so much nicer if he would just sit back and shut up sometimes. I don't think it's malicious and I think he's probably a very nice guy but it's a quirk in his personality that's very unfortunate and it definitely brings down the podcast.. And he only gets worse clearly he doesn't read any of these comments
@@rickECU ADHD is not an excuse to be rude. He can control interrupting it's not Tourette's, it's become too easy for people to use ADHD as an excuse for their impatience or intolerance and sorry but it don't wash. He is the co creator of this project so he did have the most to do with the decisions out of him and Susie but if people are in the middle of anecdotes you don't keep interrupting with "by the way" every two seconds.
The worst was the Larraine Newman episode. Here you have a legend of comedy and Jeff would not let her talk. It was embarrassing
@@steele41 There's not much can be done, they don't read these comments and Jeff is co creator of the show, yes the overuse of by the way is incessantly grating but it's his go to phrase everytime he wants to add something so we aren't going to be able to change that. You have to tune it out. I'm sure everyone whose friends with Jeff has had to for the past twenty years, imagine how long Susie has had to put up with it playing his wife.
Replace Jeff with Laura!
Brilliant suggestion!!
honestly though, yes
Jeff just ruined one of the potential best podcast in history
My opinion is we may be witnessing an “Emperor has no clothes” situation considering Jeff is an executive producer. I feel sorry for Susie… but also Jeff. There’s an apparent problem with his personality but I don’t see a bad person per se. He’s probably struggling like we all are but it feels tolerated to the point of absurdity because of his role… or maybe they just love the guy that much. Who knows? Not any of us.
They've been there for 2 decades day in and day out. They clearly love each other. Family is family and we know their faults and quirks. Nbd. They are a yin and yang. Love them they wouldn't be there if they didn't want to. U think she's not gonna say something for 20 years and sit back silent and take it?!?!?! No lolololol its all love and fam. I love it all. I dont see an issue with any of it. I enjoy the podcast. Every episode
@@andream138Jeff babbles a lot, I think people put up with it because he's ultimately a positive guy that give others praise, and his trivia is mostly relevant. If he was babbling without giving praise and without being relevant like a billy Corgan they wouldn't put up with him
I desperately want to enjoy this series but I can’t take any more of Jeff’s constant interruptions. Totally spoils it.
yeah it’s rough
17:22 Jeff ironically interrupts to encourage Laura to share her thoughts. This might be my breaking point with this podcast. As much as I would like to hear more about the behind-the-scenes, I'm starting to like Curb Your Enthusiasm less because of how annoyed I get by Jeff Garlin.
Yeah I totally get it …
Really? Because a guy talks a lot on a podcast it affects you liking a television show? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? It's just a podcast, it's not that serious.
@@JaseTVexactly, the two are not related at all. Like my favorite band is Smashing Pumpkins, even though I think Billy Corgan is the most insufferable narcissist ever, it is not relevant. You judge art on the merit of the art alone
Love these podcasts but having to listen to a thousand interruptions and 'by the ways' is getting to be torture.
It gets grinding quickly, mainly cos he uses the term incorrectly but if you want to hear about the episode you just have to wear it.
Now Jeff can now interrupt two people. 😊
By the way,
Susie and a Cardboard Cutout of Bob Einstein would be a better podcast than having Jeff sit there and be rude and annoying for 45 minutes per episode
Love the show. I watch Curb anytime I feel down and need a laugh. Never fails. Cool to listen to behind the scenes.
This show has always been my therapy too couldn’t agree more.
Laura is the epitome of delightful
Laura learned the "by the way" move quick.
She’s known him for decades, I think this is only new to us.
Omg jeff really can't control himself? Even when he has nothing to"add" he needs to laugh to make himself heard. Unbearable
“By the way, yes.” Sums up how pointless the “by the ways” are, he says it even to add nothing
Jeff puts the the brakes on anytime an interesting flows develops
This has become unlistenable! He is so rude ! It’s BY THE WAY, I’m the smartest person in the room… I got better stuff and more insight! Shut up maybe just a little!
The irony of the women talking about men being clueless and sexist then Jeff interrupting is just so ridiculous
By the way, he interrupts everyone
@@Pyro-Moloch And by the way, Pyro is right
How can anyone have a thought, Jeff??? You still can't stop stepping all over everyone. You have to have the last word to show everyone you know more. Or to clarify or explain something that is entirely unnecessary to this podcast. WHY?
Love this show really hope we get through the whole series
Jeff… let a thought breathe for more than five seconds.
Jeff should be limited , like he is on curb - too many words
I love Jeff to bits, he's hilarious and full of passion and love, but this is getting painful. I understand it is ADHD / logorrhoea but... maybe you should have a rock that you hold when it's your turn to speak? Thats what my mum and I do when we are not getting on... I really wanted to hear more from Laura, I think she was only able to finish one story.
I have ADHD and I’m not like this.
Thanks for eating on mic jeff
ASMR is very popular!
@@WaitingtoHit So is rudeness.
@@titusmccarthy I'm pleased to find that even in the comments section of a podcast about one of the most irreverent shows ever, there are still plenty of deeply serious people consumed by their own righteous indignation.
@@WaitingtoHit If I was in a meeting with you and I was on camera chewing and swallowing loudly you wouldn't give me crap? I Call BS.
@@titusmccarthy I never said that it was good to eat on mic. I just made an absurd joke. I was having some fun. Keep roaring at the world, Titus.
I totally agree with Larry going out to have a drink before you go out to have. Dinner is stupid. Just have a drink at the restaurant not all women feel that way I don’t. I think it’s a waste of time.
i think it's all a waste of time. i spend 5 minutes getting stuff at a gas station or grocery store and do something other than sit around at a table for an hour.
Could Laura be any more adorable and charming? My god she is a treasure.
And by the way, she's gorgeous too.
Lauren 36:20 to Jeff: “You are quite a guy.” 😂
Love the consistency every week 💪💪💪💪😍😍pleasant surprise every week
One of my all time favourite episodes, and a perfect choice to introduce friends to Curb. From Larry arguing with Cheryl for wanting to have a drink before the meal, to the "cunt" moment, to Larry being mistaken for being a wife-beater, it's quintessential Curb at its finest.
Apologies if someone has covered this already, but 'hat in hand' is from the english 'cap in hand'. Like removing headgear at a funeral or historically, even when one goes indoors, taking your cap or hat off is a sign of humbleness snd reverence. Have fun everyone, from a curb loving Brit 😊
Jeeez right off the bat, Jeff disagrees with the first thing Susie says. It's getting almost annoying how he can't just let what she says go sometimes. It's constant correction that makes me wanna tear my hair out lol I love Jeff but jesus dude just shut up sometimes and go with the flow.
Jeff "By The Way" Garlin
Love him haha. He gets so excited. Love his passion. 😃
Was he eating during the first 10 min of this episode? 😂
@@drpepa09 you've just trolled me hypocrite
@@Neyshtradamus Yup. I was going to say who eats during a podcast. We want to hear you eating?
By the way It's Always Sunny is just as good as Curb despite all that shade Jeff tries throwing.
Ikr. They're acting like Kaitlyn wasn't in the best comedy series of all time after her guest appearance. Really shows you how full of themselves and out of touch these folks are.
Curb is 10x better.
@@titusmccarthy and you're free to think that. 🤷🏼♂️
@@Mistahhuntah Always Sunny is just like South Park. It tries to hard to be offensive and it's just lame. Reactionaries however, love it.
@@titusmccarthy again. You're free to think that, you're wrong but free to think it. Curb straight up ripped off Sunny episodes at the end. 😘🤷🏼♂️

LARRY AS A GUEST! LARRY AS A GUEST! LETS START A CHANT! 🎉😂
He hates doing commentaries.
Love Curb but Jeff make these unwatchable unfortunately. Let people speak man!
Can't Jeff refrain from stuffing his face for a minute?
It would be cool if you were able to facetime some of the cast/crew during your podcast as you talk about their involvement. Regardless I will look forward to hearing your experiences.

Jeff, stop talking! He’s so in the way. Narcissistic!
Pretty pretty fast
Jeff, my dear, wait your turn.
No, please don’t. Jeff is Curb and his interruptions are always valuable.
I love Jeff.❤❤❤❤
Love it, keep em' coming!
My new drinking game is that you have to take a shot every time Jeff says ‘by the way’😂
Prayers up for you 🙏
My favorite was at 05:10. He literally says "by the way: yes", instead of just saying yes 😅
At the point this is your drinking game it’s time for AA ;)
@@leob4403last time he said “by the way: no. you’re absolutely right.” or something like that. Words cease to have meaning when Jeff needs to hear the sound of his own voice.
Jeff centers every damn show on himself. He can't get out of his own way
Carwash C-word
He’s so annoying- please stop him
Great episode 👍
Funny that when Susie says “ car wash c…t she also had a dentist appointment! And as a husband I am way LESS offended and into the dessert on the beach to wind the night down.
All time insult
Jesus-friggin'-Christ, Jeff!
By the way, Laura is gorgeous.
Susie does a great British accent 😂
Who wants to go to a bar hungry, thinking about food, order a drink, and then wait some amount of time before setting off the restaurant where you have in indeterminate wait for your food there?
Better to go eat, and then either have a drink and/or dessert at a favorite dessert place. Like, Chinese restaurants are bad places for desserts, all they have is fortune cookies, or Green Tea ice cream, or some rice concoction that are usually not to the liking of the American 1000-calorie dessert preference. And Larry usually does not want dessert anyway ... especially if it is pie from Ted Dansin.
Thumbs down until Jeff is gone ..
Jeff, that’s enough about you, how about me? What do you think of me? Please give Jeff more to drink, it’s the ONLY time he’s not interupting 😆
By the way!!!
would any restaurant give a returned order back to the original orderer? Seems like there would be all kind of problems with that ... just cook a new fresh hot order ... don't give a patron a returned order from someone else?
Thank you! Really look forward to these podcasts after enjoying the episodes so much!! Great to enjoy the background stories!
