The Streamer Stage 2 is one of only two basses I know of that have this tone, the other being the Spector NS2J which the Stage 2 was originally a European copy of. Both have such a good tone and either are on my small list of dream basses to find one day
In practice, when it comes to sound, I even find the timbres to be very similar. However, when it comes to mechanics, they are very different. Starting with the spacing of the strings. In this regard, I personally prefer the Stage I, which has a wider arm, 20mm. Thanks!
