This is really good! You have a talented way with making the song blend very well with the clips, especially from halfway and on towards the end; something that is very hard for a lot of other video makers to do as they lose patience. I can just effortlessly enjoy this video. Thank you! :)
That's because I almost never edit in order. I rather randomly edit to start - pulling clips and setting them where they make the most sense. It's only after I am more than halfway done that I start to go to the beginning and (mostly) fill in the gaps from start to finish. I tend to put the first and last clips in first and then work throughout the middle. And I never lose patience. I love vidding! It's a relaxing hobby and every video is a labour of love. :)
You used this song?! I love, love, LOVE this song! And it's pERFECT for them :) Some songs just fitt these to a T an this is one of them! Some other favorites of mine are Thousand Years (you already used that one) and I've loved you before by Melissa Etheridge.
I love Katy Perry songs, she's one of my top fav singers, so it was a true delight to see you using another one of her next to my Double Rainbow one :)

I only didn't recognized some parts. 0:14 (the price?) 0:48 (past imperfect?) 2:27 (judging from Gabbys top, season 2 or 3) 2:51 (it's at the verge of my head but it slips away again xD Maybe Eve or Livia eps?) and 3:30 I have no idea O.o
Btw, I absolutely LOVE the scene at 3:36 in Past Imperfect. Always have, always will. It's so incredible how you litterly see Xena relax more by Gabrielles touch. It's so beautiful!
+10animallover10 Yeah, I thought you might like this one considering you suggested the song that started this mess! :D A friend of mine suggested this song when I told her I had 30 minutes of footage I pulled of X&G to make your video and I wanted to make use of the hours I spent doing that. I had never heard this song, but the second I did - OMG, could it be more Gab to Xena?
And, yeah, that's right, all the X&G videos in this are you fault. ;) And there's one more coming (just touching it up right now).
0:14 - "The Giant Killer" - it's a very forgettable ep (ugh on the early bible story eps - they pissed me off so much, I throw up in my mouth - I am watching for GREEK mythology, thank you), except that Xena is friends with Goliath and they are on opposite sides. There's some really powerful scenes with Xena in this ep, and some back story for her, and lots of moments with Gabrielle trying to comfort her.
0:48 is from "Past Imperfect," yes. It's literally seconds before 3:36. ;)
2:27 - that ep you don't like as much as others. ;) "Remember Nothing"
2:51 - end of "Antony & Cleopatra"
3:30 - end of "Gabrielle's Hope" right before Gabby goes off to pray for Hope to be good.
3:36 - Xena closes her eyes, but I would not agree she's relaxed by Gabrielle's touch. If anything I think Gabrielle touching her is heightening her fear and anxiety because Xena has seen the vision of Alti, but Gabrielle isn't buying it. Gabby keeps trying to talk Xena out of thinking it can happen the entire ep, but that's because Gabby doesn't see it herself until Alti shows her in "Between the Lines." I think Gabby trying to comfort Xena just makes Xena that much more afraid of when this will happen and she will lose her. My two dinars anyway.

It's been a long time since I saw that one.. Didn't really like this ep but you're right, Xena has some nice powerful scenes in there, though :)

You know, I have never looked at it that way.. It does make some sese yes how you explain it.. I'm still not sure if I agree with you but you make some nice points ;) We should ask Lucy some time if we get the chance :P See what her thoughts are behind that scene if she can remember it :)
+10animallover10 LOL! Oh gods, Lucy isn't going to remember. She has got to be the single fastest person when it comes to moving on as an actor. There are numerous interviews with people like Sharon trying to ask her specific episode questions where Lucy doesn't even recall, say, chewing on Kevin Smith's chest. Not really something Xena does often, but didn't stand out. :D
You don't have to agree. That's one of those lovely things about visual mediums - there's so much being said through every movement, gesture, or the inflection of tone, and it's completely up to each of us to decide what we see. For me, Xena looks extremely sad and worried. That's not to downplay Gabby's touch; I'd say it speaks volumes because of that fear of losing her, especially after having lost her so recently.
+Bitch of Rome Entertainment Funny thing is that Lucy and Ren often do get to see these if only from behind the projector. While they may not remember what things are from, understandable since Lucy never actually watched the completed series, things moved too fast to worry about what was past. She regarded Kevin as a brother...so would you remember kissing your brother?

Yes, I am well aware the actors often can see the videos from behind, but that has nothing to do with what I said. The point being Lucy shoots a scene, and then rarely seems to recall any details from it. Not always mind you. I love the "Return of Callisto" commentary because Renee forgot Callisto died and was commenting "Wow, they are cutting it close" and the look on Lucy's face is just priceless as she waits for Renee's reaction, because she remembered. But then, other times, she's asked a question about a scene, and doesn't recall it at all. But then, do you remember every day at your job? Of course not. Even days that might seem memorable to others might be mundane for you.
