I have an 1989 325is (US model) and it does not hold a candle to the gorgeous car in this video. The color, the wheels, the interior and that body kit. OMG. Congrats! Stunning!
Congratulations, I love your car, looks stunning 😍 I own 2, an South African 325i 4door totally original and an 320i SE Portuguese with an M52B28. They are amazing cars, always put a smile on my face and also other ppls as for sure you've noticed with yours. Your interior is a banger ❤
Wow very nice looking e30. Same story in South-Africa where we didnt get the M3 but BMW and Alpina got together and developed a model known as the 325is for the South-Arican market as the "M Car". Also a Modified 325i with M-Tech 2 Kit on it, although it carried the suspension and brakes from the e30 M3 available else where in the world.
@@liammaupin9492 South-Africa did, the 333i was also a special model due to South-Africa not receiving the e30 M3 as part of the model line up. Both South African 333i's and 325is's are special cars and are highly regarded in South-Africa. They also fetch pretty high prices some even more than recent M-cars.
SA had some really nice rare old bmws. they also had a E23 745i powered by the M1/1st gen M5's M88 engine. in the states the e23 745i is a turbo'ed M30
beautiful, I have a similar lachsilber 325is in its original state. I have the 15in BBS but do.love those Aplina wheels. Is the Remus set up quite loud or suttle?
It does have a little drone between 1.6k to 1.9k but pretty subtle until 4k then gets louder and raspy (which I like). Burbles a little sometimes pops on upshifts. I wouldn't mind it being a bit quieter (new resonator) but I don't want to mess with the recipie too much :)
Nice car, in Australia there a 325is , ide say not a m3 replacement but would look good next to one in the garage, 2 very different cars and m3 driven properly will out do a 325 in every way, as for doing stroker YES it's the solution to the anemic b25, if your streeting the car just build a 3.1 you can leave it looking STD but make lots more power and torque, if you want some m20 ideas look up my channel I'm building angry m20 race engines 💪💪💪
What a lovely example this e30 325i is. If I had the ability to obtain one this is exactly how I would have mine setup. The driving experience alone would be amazing, sir I envy you.
Great video Sam. I have an E39 M5 in Christchurch but have always fancied a M325i. Drove an E30 M3 but for the money now did not do it for me. Pleased to see the 400km. Looks awesome
The only thing i would change on this little Beauty is put a black leather gear gaiter on it the fabric one matching the seats doesn’t suit it in my opinion.
The M3 is a different machine, I always had the same opinion, they are special but the 325i is a better car all around to be honest. At least you can trash them and enjoy them without being afraid of ruining an 50k+ car. The vast majority of M3's sleep in garages all year round and at least I can say I daily an e30 which nowadays is rare and mind-blowing for most that own them. These cars are meant to be driven, not baby-sit in a garage.
@@mpower320i i still feel that the 325i is better by all means, the history of cars just like luxury watches may not mean that they are necessarily good, in South Africa, they produced an even purer car which was the 333i instead of the M3, they went on to produce a 325is which was and still is a gem, the sonorous inline6 E30 models were and are above and beyond the 4cylinder E30 M3 produced for Europe at the time, nice cars, i drove one whilst in the UK but there is nothing there, you don’t get the emotion and goose bumps of the E30 inline6, its a wobbly overrated car, I’m sorry but thats just my honest opinion, popular opinion don’t make it any better..
@@mpower320i hell, let them keep it in a garage. that just means more E30 parts for me 😂 eventually finding parts for these cars will be an absolute nightmare, if it's anything like my E23 733i. finding something simple as aftermarket suspension on a E23 is harder than it needs to be
Spot on - at every level. I have one completely OEM original in dolphin grey and 85000kms documented - surely the BMW design team today must think jeez maybe we should go back to this right ?!?!

One of the most beautiful E30s I have ever seen. What a masterpiece. Greetings from South Africa and God bless 🙏🏿

Great car mate! We had the same in South Africa...called a 325iS. Initially a 2.5 and later a 2.7.
Thanks my Bru - very jealous of the SA E30 Special editions - truly special cars
A total of only 508 325is and 333is EVO1 and EVO 2 Shadowlines were built by BMW SA, beautiful cars
That thing looks stunning
Gorgeous. I have 2 X e28's, but would love an e30 of this quality. Proper sensitive restoration.
Lovely car, in a the uk it’s called a 325i sport.
The stans is spot on bro 👍
Love the O.E.M plus look,
E30 the best looking

No fender flares. Not an M even if you put the label on it.
It’s an Mtechnic, not an M3 - do some reading 👍

E39 M5 is one of the greatest BMWs ever built 👌🏽
This was just like mine. Stunning.
Love the e30s and e21s great driving cars of that era

Amazing footage
I have an 88 IS. Mostly stock except for rims. Nice little cars to drive.
Great stuff!!
What do you call the filler vents above the ashtray? Love it.
I’m not sure - it’s got a dealer fitted AC blower behind it - I believe it’s actually an E28 centre console part

@@josephwhite5337 yeah - an aftermarket air conditioning blower is there. I suspect you could make an E28 one fit easy enough

Where is the engine photos or videos .... so confused ?? why not show the engine ?
Very nice car my dream car

Great to see a BMW driver using their indicators 😅
0:46 what reputation?can`t drive?

nice 325is

change the wheel, fit the 15's bbs oem E30 m3 wheel.
It came with the 15” BBS wheels but they felt a little small with the chunky Mtech 2 kit - fantastic wheel though, probably BMWs best ever.
Old and dangerous to drive
