I wish I knew about this a few weeks ago when I bought a new sissy bar bag for my sporty. I'm happy with what I have though. It's almost worth spending the money just to get this one because it is waterproof. Rain or shine, I ride to work and home, it's 60 miles each way.
Damn this video came right at the perfect moment, having just got home from a trip that I strapped my work, cheap, backpack to my backseat making it impossible to get into easily. I digress, I have had a number of good travel bags, namely Wolfman roll top duffle bags, but I've given both bags to my son's when they got old enough to travel on their own adventures. And I've thought about buying another one but they no longer make the bags in bright kayek yellow which made them visible, easy to find on airport carousels, made you look like the Marlboro man on the Subway and looked good on the bike no matter what color I painted that month, so yeah your point about offering it in yellow is important. How high does the sissy bar need to be? Angus and I are getting ready to build a new sissybar for the EGS. External pockets aside laptop pocket? My Ogio backpack has a hardcase for glasses, (oddly enough I travel in both seasons, day and night.) Is it big enough for a multiple day trip? I'm going to look into this. As if you can't tell, I have a backpack owning issue...
Just got it… overall ‘good enough’ bag; does what it supposed to do. Comparable to built quality of Kriega bags, I don’t see it. I’d say it’ll last for a year or two (maybe) at most with daily use. We’ll see. A bit over priced at $150, imo. I see it more at $110-125, max, again comparing to my experiences w Kriega bags.

Oh yeah, for that type of situation this could be a game changer! I've ran through enough rain to appreciate that peace of mind

That's a good question - I would say you'd probably want something 20'' or more - I feel like you and I have the same issues with bags and helmets 😂
Hey man, im looking to get a setup like this for my superglide. Which sissy bar are you running? Looks like it may be a quick detach setup?
How well does it stay on if its empty or just has a hoodie only?
Does the sissy bar work with leather pros
Like butter.
