I love the way many korean groups dance but what makes shinee most valuable at least for me, is they have a whole different way of dance, is so subtle and artistic so sharp in small movements that seem easy but aren't, they have like a personal touch to all their music, don't go along the wave they make their own thing whether is on trend or not. At least is how I see it, that's why they are my number 1 group on kpop although I reaaallly like others
All SHINee members are good at dancing, but the thing is, they got Taemin in the group which kinda steals your attention. That’s why lots of non-fans or ‘muggles’ don’t quite notice the other members when they’re dancing and kinda surprised when they find out later that the others are also exceptionally good at dancing! I mean, they always put effort and energy in each of their movements, along with amazing live vocal skills.. it’s just hard to find another group like SHINee so I’m very grateful to know them and grew up knowing their amazing existence! Onew and Jonghyun especially worked really hard on their trainee days on their dancing and it’s always amazing how they actually worked from nothing. Personally, I always think of SHINee as the icon of self-improvement, they work really hard to become the better version of themselves every single time. Thank you for this reaction video MONQ!

And they're always so flawless in switching formations.. if you like the way they're point/switching movement from each other... you would love their 'Married to the Music' choreography. Married to the Music has an MV and also a performance MV. The MV is suoer unique with Halloween flavour... nut doesn't show too much of the amazing choreography.. to see how amazing the choreo is you need to watch their performance video.

Key is so good at dancing. When they debuted Key and Taemin had a little dance choreo that they did to promote as rookies. They just have evolved into very different styles like this song and dance is something Key owns because Key does really well with more theatrical dances, but also tends get overlooked in dance because of Taemin (reminds me of what happens in Infinite sometimes). Key also has a great memory, he memorizes choreo after seeing it only once it's amazing - the group has said that Key is usually the one that helps them learn their dances because he remembers them so fast while Taemin is the actually the one who makes the most mistakes when they are learning. Honestly Shinee has everything, couldn't have picked a better group to hold my entire heart.

SHINee are very good when it comes to basically everything and that includes bringing back the feel of old school music and performance. With this particular song and choreography they remind me of old musicals I’ve watched as a young girl, with handsome men in suits and beautiful women in long flowy dresses dancing to interesting and intricate dance routines. Your Number is probably my favorite choreography (along Picasso) and definitely favorite Performance Video. There is actual MV to this song (where our boys go to a date with a girl), but I don’t know if you can watch it here on yt, and also Performance Video White, which you won’t be able to find here for sure. If Your Number Black is classic in character, White is more futuristic and so it’s worth to look for it on internet and check how different it is from the one you’ve watched. Also, for me Taemin’s dancing is like water, fluid and smooth, while Key’s like fire, powerful and sharp. Not that they can’t feel the other way around (because certainly Taemin can be sharp and extremely precise and Kibum can be smooth and soft), but that’s how I usually see their dancing styles. There’s so much of SHINee for you to still discover and I can’t wait to see how you discover 1of1 era ^^

I know, I understand you, Out there you can find a lot of great groups and everyone will say this an that is best regarding this group or that, but certainly beyond all ratings that fans impose SHINee is that group that gains a special place in your heart no matter what you are looking for in music ❤️
Another great choreography by Rino Nakasone shinee's mom haha replay choreographer, she started her career as a choreographer with shinee-replay. SHINee is just on another level for being in the industry for 12 years and yet still cater different genre and giving their 110% in every performance. Thank you for this reaction, please react to Taemin-Press it Medley from their Tokyo dome concert. PS. SHINee is second gen and Exo is 3rd generation😊 PSS. All SHINee members are talented dancers is just that they have Taemin in the group. If Key is in another group, he will be the main dancer for sure. Same goes with the vocals, all of them are talented as well but they have Jonghyun and Onew on the team. Minho as their rapper can be a lead vocalist for other groups and SHINee main dancer is actually a co-main vocalist in SuperM😊 they just work very hard to the point that they can exchange position within the group.

Minho is definitely third in Shinee. He has great flow and control over his movements. His style is the smoothest in shinee. He would suit lyrical hip hop.
Yeah SHINee is full of solid dancers; not a single weak link. Obviously Taemin and Key auditioned for SM as dancers so I think it's safe to say they're definitely more personally vested in dance as an art form but in terms of talent and skill; not a single one of the members missed.
NonFans, general public, critics, professionals, other idols.. Many acknowledge how SHINee’s Dances are hard, like HARD HARD. More so recognized that they sing LIVE along with it. It just seem like it’s easy coz SHINee executes it so well. Many of SHINee’s Dances when danced by others doesn’t look as neat and crisp and smooth. To think only Kibum and Taemin were already dancing before SHINee trained, all others got to learn to dance. Amazing..

I am so happy you are developing an appreciation for Key! When I was getting to know SHINee two years ago and I didn't even know all their names.... my eye kept being drawn to Key. He smiled. A lot! And I loved to see him smile after a really great performance. Key's skills are no joke. In fact .... I think when SHINee started out, that Key was by far the best dancer in SHINee. Yes, Taemin is now another level, but Key still has amazing dance (and other) skills. He is also incredibly intelligent and I love the fact that he's both caring and savage. Lol His savagery is legendary. lol You have no idea how badly I would love to see Key cover Taemin's song "Move". Many people have covered it very well, but I have a feeling that Key is the only one that could possibly do it justice and dance it almost as well as Taemin does. It would be amazing!! I do have to say that I have never really heard anyone speak poorly of Minho's rap skills until I heard you say it. I have heard that he was teased a lot for the Dibidibidous rap, though I have to say there is something iconic about it now. lol! Key is a dance machine, he knows so many choreographies, is impressive! I also like his personality a lot, he is very sassy and funny. Even though my bias is Taemin, I really love Key too. He is an underrated dancer because Taemin is just too good! But Key also deserves recognition.
This is my most favorite SHINee choreography! I don't know how many times I've watched this MV Black version but I'm still as mesmerized as when I first saw it. The way they're all doing different things and yet still so synchronized is so freaking awesome to me. SHINee really has it all. If they’d do a dance battle.. they’d probably just be like “I don’t know how to dance”. Seriously, maybe except Taemin the other members genuinely think they’re not good dancers. It's funny you mentioned old school because when me and my mom listen to SHINee she always points out which artists she grew up listening too as a teenager and it makes me feel happy that we can hear the similarities in these groups.

Before lines blurred on who's supposed to be vocal/dancer etc Taemin and Key were considered the dance line of SHINee (Jonghyun, Minho, and Onew only started dancing after being recruited by SM). Julien Chu I’ll be keeping an eye on Taemin’s Vlive channel. I also saw Super M concert, well part of it. 20 min in and my power went out! 😤 No WiFi, I just bawled. When my brain started functioning again, I grabbed my iPhone, downloaded app, prayed I could use a second device, changed to cell data and thank god I was able to watch it again. I missed 30 min. 😢
Also, since you’re getting into both SHINee and BTS a little fun fact. I think you’ve seen how BTS got a lot of hate in the beginning of their career, so no one really promoted them or would even make fun of them, but Jonghyun had his own radio show and he praised them and played their songs even in the midst of that. 💚

Look I love EXO too, but SHINee is my ultimate. I don't think I can explain but I just feel really different with SHINee. I don't know if this has something to do with my age (im 26) and because I got introduced to kpop during the reign of 2nd gen, but the newer stuff are just not my tea. There are new groups i'm into, a bit of NCT, blackpink, red velvet, day6, maybe some twice or everglow and mamamoo. I listen to those a bit.. But not as much as im into SHINee.. they just hit different, and they never miss
When I first saw SHINee, I immediately zeroed in on Taemin as most people do. But then I noticed that my eye kept being drawn to Key. I will be in the minority on this one but I think Key would win that dance contest. The next time you look into one of their dance music videos, look for the letters. As a 5 man group the do a lot of A's, M's, V's, and W's with a healthy helping of slash marks (/ \). I'm not sure how they will balance as a 4 man group with Jonghyun gone, but if their "recovery" album was any hint, we have nothing to fear.

If you like more older kpop, I suggest you check out Super Junior and TVXQ! Both groups are still active and been in the business for 15 and 17 years. Super Junior's latest song is "2YA2YAO," but their most famous one is "Sorry Sorry." Personally, I like their follow up "Sorry Sorry Answer" more, but it is iconic. Other personal favorites are "Devil," "Mamacita," "Islands," and "Shirt." TVXQ's most famous Korean song is "Mirotic," before they split into a pop duo. And while they are widely known in Korea, they are GIANTS in Japan, and have many Japanese songs. One of the members, Changmin, just came out with a solo hit "Chocolate" which, I honestly can't stop listening to. Another good song of theirs is "Before U Go." I wish I could give you more suggestions, but I don't know them as well as Super Junior.

Key is so good at dancing. When they debuted Key and Taemin had a little dance choreo that they did to promote as rookies. They just have evolved into very different styles like this song and dance is something Key owns because Key does really well with more theatrical dances, but also tends get overlooked in dance because of Taemin (reminds me of what happens in Infinite sometimes). Key also has a great memory, he memorizes choreo after seeing it only once it's amazing - the group has said that Key is usually the one that helps them learn their dances because he remembers them so fast while Taemin is the actually the one who makes the most mistakes when they are learning. Honestly Shinee has everything, couldn't have picked a better group to hold my entire heart.
They’re all such amazing dancers but taemin would definitely win lol hes a beast many ppl and professionals consider him the best of all of kpop I can’t wait for you to see more of his solo work as well as making your way to newer shinee Thankyou for doing these 💗💗 this song and choreo is such a classic

SHINee are very good when it comes to basically everything and that includes bringing back the feel of old school music and performance. With this particular song and choreography they remind me of old musicals I’ve watched as a young girl, with handsome men in suits and beautiful women in long flowy dresses dancing to interesting and intricate dance routines. Your Number is probably my favorite choreography (along Picasso) and definitely favorite Performance Video.
There is actual MV to this song (where our boys go to a date with a girl), but I don’t know if you can watch it here on yt, and also Performance Video White, which you won’t be able to find here for sure. If Your Number Black is classic in character, White is more futuristic and so it’s worth to look for it on internet and check how different it is from the one you’ve watched.
Also, for me Taemin’s dancing is like water, fluid and smooth, while Key’s like fire, powerful and sharp. Not that they can’t feel the other way around (because certainly Taemin can be sharp and extremely precise and Kibum can be smooth and soft), but that’s how I usually see their dancing styles.
There’s so much of SHINee for you to still discover and I can’t wait to see how you discover 1of1 era ^^

Key is my ultimate bias in kpop ♥️ he is an amazing dancer and his solo album is my favorite of all. His artistry and musicality over his music is outstanding ♥️

PSS. All SHINee members are talented dancers is just that they have Taemin in the group. If Key is in another group, he will be the main dancer for sure. Same goes with the vocals, all of them are talented as well but they have Jonghyun and Onew on the team. Minho as their rapper can be a lead vocalist for other groups and SHINee main dancer is actually a co-main vocalist in SuperM😊 they just work very hard to the point that they can exchange position within the group.

If we have to rank the best dancer in Shinee it will be 1)Taemin 2)Key 3)Jonghyun 4&5 shared by either Minho and Onew in any order. Key is a beast. You can look for Key’s dance audition for SM and he killed it.
Minho is definitely third in Shinee. He has great flow and control over his movements. His style is the smoothest in shinee. He would suit lyrical hip hop.
Yeah SHINee is full of solid dancers; not a single weak link.
Obviously Taemin and Key auditioned for SM as dancers so I think it's safe to say they're definitely more personally vested in dance as an art form but in terms of talent and skill; not a single one of the members missed.
NonFans, general public, critics, professionals, other idols.. Many acknowledge how SHINee’s Dances are hard, like HARD HARD. More so recognized that they sing LIVE along with it.
It just seem like it’s easy coz SHINee executes it so well. Many of SHINee’s Dances when danced by others doesn’t look as neat and crisp and smooth.
To think only Kibum and Taemin were already dancing before SHINee trained, all others got to learn to dance. Amazing..

It’s more like their flexibility to freestyle different dance styles, coz when you teach SHINee ANYTHING, theyll nail it. And they have different style even when dancing same choreo and I like that.
Jinki, Jjong and Minho learned dancing only till their training years but.. they’re seriously good. Jonghyun has a specific style he’s good at, Minho too gosh he dances sooo well!! It’s mesmerizing live esp. Jinki too.
I am so happy you are developing an appreciation for Key! When I was getting to know SHINee two years ago and I didn't even know all their names.... my eye kept being drawn to Key. He smiled. A lot! And I loved to see him smile after a really great performance. Key's skills are no joke. In fact .... I think when SHINee started out, that Key was by far the best dancer in SHINee. Yes, Taemin is now another level, but Key still has amazing dance (and other) skills. He is also incredibly intelligent and I love the fact that he's both caring and savage. Lol His savagery is legendary. lol
You have no idea how badly I would love to see Key cover Taemin's song "Move". Many people have covered it very well, but I have a feeling that Key is the only one that could possibly do it justice and dance it almost as well as Taemin does. It would be amazing!!
I do have to say that I have never really heard anyone speak poorly of Minho's rap skills until I heard you say it. I have heard that he was teased a lot for the Dibidibidous rap, though I have to say there is something iconic about it now. lol! It's a very memorable moment in SHINee history even though they may wish to forget it!

Even though my bias is Taemin, I really love Key too. He is an underrated dancer because Taemin is just too good! But Key also deserves recognition.
This is my most favorite SHINee choreography! I don't know how many times I've watched this MV Black version but I'm still as mesmerized as when I first saw it. The way they're all doing different things and yet still so synchronized is so freaking awesome to me. SHINee really has it all. If they’d do a dance battle.. they’d probably just be like “I don’t know how to dance”. Seriously, maybe except Taemin the other members genuinely think they’re not good dancers. They’re so humble and modest to say they do Dance Battle. Sometimes you just want to smack them and like “Yahh !!” Haha.

Key is such an amazing dancer, it makes me happy to see people recognize and appreciate that. His solo choreographies really showcase his strongpoints, “One of Those Nights” and “Chemicals” in particular are especially impressive in my opinion.

Julien Chu I’ll be keeping an eye on Taemin’s Vlive channel. I also saw Super M concert, well part of it. 20 min in and my power went out! 😤 No WiFi, I just bawled. When my brain started functioning again, I grabbed my iPhone, downloaded app, prayed I could use a second device, changed to cell data and thank god I was able to watch it again. I missed 30 min. 😢

Also, since you’re getting into both SHINee and BTS a little fun fact. I think you’ve seen how BTS got a lot of hate in the beginning of their career, so no one really promoted them or would even make fun of them, but Jonghyun had his own radio show and he praised them and played their songs even in the midst of that. 💚

Also i see u having confusion in identifying members while u watching concerts. If u had any confusion in future just remember that SHINee has a lining order when they do talk ment. 2 types of order
1. Onew-taemin-jjong-minho- key(for korean conerts)
2. Onew-jjong-taemin-minho- key(for Japanese concerts)
Taemin and jjong switch their place when they're in japan. So, when they're talking on concerts u can easily identify them with this order.
Another tip, everyone has their own color too... U can notice on their mics during ballads orthe balls they're throwing towards fans

Look I love EXO too, but SHINee is my ultimate. I don't think I can explain but I just feel really different with SHINee. I don't know if this has something to do with my age (im 26) and because I got introduced to kpop during the reign of 2nd gen, but the newer stuff are just not my tea. There are new groups i'm into, a bit of NCT, blackpink, red velvet, day6, maybe some twice or everglow and mamamoo. I listen to those a bit.. But not as much as im into SHINee.. they just hit different, and they never miss

The next time you look into one of their dance music videos, look for the letters. As a 5 man group the do a lot of A's, M's, V's, and W's with a healthy helping of slash marks (/ \).
I'm not sure how they will balance as a 4 man group with Jonghyun gone, but if their "recovery" album was any hint, we have nothing to fear.

If you like more older kpop, I suggest you check out Super Junior and TVXQ! Both groups are still active and been in the business for 15 and 17 years. Super Junior's latest song is "2YA2YAO," but their most famous one is "Sorry Sorry." Personally, I like their follow up "Sorry Sorry Answer" more, but it is iconic. Other personal favorites are "Devil," "Mamacita," "Islands," and "Shirt." TVXQ's most famous Korean song is "Mirotic," before they split into a pop duo. And while they are widely known in Korea, they are GIANTS in Japan, and have many Japanese songs. One of the members, Changmin, just came out with a solo hit "Chocolate" which, I honestly can't stop listening to. Another good song of theirs is "Before U Go." I wish I could give you more suggestions, but I don't know them as well as Super Junior.
