Thanks to the SiouxFalls diocese for such a beautiful Sunday service. Thanks to all for the wonderful video and sound production. Most excellent!! God bless all for your service to us at this time ( from Jackson, Mn).
I am a member of the Legion of Mary. We have been evangelizing door to door for several years. I fear that many who have gotten into the habit of NOT attending Mass will not return. All the more will we need to evangelize, so pray for the LOM and that pastors will see the need and establish a presidium in their parishes.
We thank God for our Most High Bishop for his preaching. Most Holy God, forgive our sinfulness, and heal our brokenness, renew our hearts that we may be one in You. Let us forget about evil hearing and always hear from Most High God always
Thank you Bishop Degrood and all involved in the production of Sunday Mass. We’ve been tuning from the beginning of our Stay at Home order in San Diego, CA and our family hopes to one day visit so we can attend mass in person in your beaut cathedral. God bless you and continue to take care.
Am so blessed to have this wonderful Mass televised for us to join in worship .Your homilies are superb Bishop DeGood, and the readers ,musicians are excellent.God bless all of you.
We still await our churches to open. Politicians seem not to care for those folk who worship Christ in the Holy Eucharist.Man does not live on bread alone but from the graces he receives from the Heavenly Trinity.Asking God to soften their hearts and grant us Marcy
Thank you Bishop for always sharing the good news to us all through your personal experience and reflections. I pray that we may all become attentive to the voice of the true Shepherd our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen!
Just a humble message to my brothers and sisters to continue to have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, as He continues to watch over us through this pandemic and will carry us through. We will prevail in the power of the Holy Spirit. May peace and health be with you and your loved ones.
Thanks for the Holy Mass. Please open up our churches. They are essential services!I encourage everyone to read and study the works of Luisa Piccarreta on the Divine Will. Mike Reynolds Bowral Australia
I agree, Bishop DeGrood is a credit to the diocese. Saint Joseph Cathedral provides wonderful on line worshiping. One small request I do have if possible is lyrics to hymns scrolling on the screen.
Lord we glorify your Holy name.. I totally surrender to you my husband who have other woman , in chatting with her in bad dating site, touch him to be focus on our marriage life with peace ad have a normal life together , Lord Mama mary intercede for me !! To God be the glory Amen
The “Holy eucharist” is not a means of salvation or a way to maintain salvation. It is a tradition of man. Not of the lords words. Ephesians 2:8-10 King James Version (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 1 Peter 3:18 New International Version (NIV) 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. Romans 8:1-2 King James Version (KJV) 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Jesus did not preform the Eucharist with the disciples. For the remission of sin. He died on the cross for all mankind once and for all time, to pay the price for sin. He broke the bread and gave it to the disciples saying, this is my body eat this in remembrance of me. He didn’t say eat this bread and drink this wine as a form of continuing atonement for the sin that I go to die on the cross for. I would also add that when Jesus died, the veil of the temple was torn in too. Signifying that we were no longer separated from God by sin. The veil was there to keep sinful man from dying by coming into the presence of a holy God. We are now hid in Christ Jesus, our sins are atoned for, the veil is no more. There is no longer separation between man and God. There is therefore now no longer a need for a priest to act as a mediator between man and God for the atonement of sin. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 We are all priests through the Lord Jesus Christ. Our priesthood is to act as mediators between the lost in sin,and the Lord. Revelation 1:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Jesus entered once into the most holy place. The priest entered the most holy place once a year to make atonement for his sins and the sins of the people. Jesus entered by his death one time for all the sins of all mankind once and for all as the Scripture says. Romans 6:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV) 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, [a]reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Hebrews 9:12 King James Version (KJV) 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Your doctrine is faults your gospel is another gospel. Seek the lord wile it is still called today. You know not what tomorrow will bring. For what is your life. It is a vapor that appears for a short time and than vanishes away. James 4:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Roman Catholics I implore you, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Seek the truth, you have been deceived. Mark Peterman, I also thought so for almost 37 years in my journey as an evangelical Protestant. But by God's grace, about two years ago, I realized the claims of the Catholic Faith was true and the Protestant dogma of sola scriptura was a man made dogma that led to thousands of divisions in Christendom and the early Church had only the Hebrew Old Testament and the New Testament Gospels and epistles came into existence as a collection of books through the Church Councils. Christ established only one Church not many thousand churches with different and conflicting teachings on the same issues, Lord's Super, Baptism, marriage and divorce and homosexuality etc. Sola scriptura cannot be supported even by the Bible itself and Paul emphasizes the importance of the tradition and the written word. You only cherry pick the Bible verses. Read John 6. You will realize that the Catholic dogma of transubtantiation is very biblical. Go to the website of Coming Home Network and see why hundreds of Protestants have been converting to Catholicism. God bless you.
Scott Hahn is just one of dozens of protestant leaders who became catholic. The Holy Eucharist (withouth quotes) really is The Holy Sacrament that Jesus left to all of us. May someday you spiritually understand it. About Scott Hahn, see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Hahn
All happy and sappy homily as usual. What about a stern warning against following false shepherds who come to steal and destroy your soul? And God doesnt just gives us "good things" he brings us trials and suffering to refine us. Like how God brings diseases and plagues perhaps.. But nah thats too negative. Too harsh for ppl nowadays i guess. Why do i still watch this...
Go back to watching senseless cable with countless ads that you pay for and don't bother donating a penny to any charitable organization, if you chose to not be part of His🐑🐏 fold; go your own way🐐.
