2:14 i find the idea of peppino getting ptsd upon seeing the old bosses really believable. he looks like a war vet who found out he had to fight one last battle
this entire game has been pushing an italian man to his limit and he just finally snaps at the end of it. i mean he was already gonna lose his pizzeria to crippling debt but having it all end in a massive explosion is way to much.
i love how they re-use the combo meter animations for the final boss, it adds so much character without bloating the already expansive sprite sheet. one of my favorite details about this game

Well, fun fact if you hit him during or right after using one of those attacks when he gets back up, he'll do the other one. For example, if you hit him during the summoning, he's guaranteed to do the dive when he gets up and vice versa. If you can time you're attacks right and hit him during the summoning animation just before a minion pops out, he will do the dive attack when he gets up and fun fact everytime he dives a minion spawns from the ground, and he has the same pattern of dive summons dive summon. You see where I am going with this? If you can time you're throws perfectly, you've effectively removed half of his moveset from the equation.
Another way to cheese it is in the second phase. The strategy I did was basically sit at the way back. 9/10 times it works and when it does half of Pizzahead’s attacks (the fork knights, TV, and Sub-machine gun) are basically just free hits. Hell it even makes it easier avoiding Pizzaface’s occasional cog vomiting since all you really have to do is a simple jump. Also, cool to see that I wasn’t the only one who noticed Pizzaface’s pattern in the first phase, makes me look a lot less insane when I tried to no hit this boss. :,)

Because that he thought he would get the sword instead of all of the fork knights 1:53

Dark cook is actually the best skin to use for this fight since you can't really be worried about how much health you have left. You can't be afraid of death if you don't acknowledge it's existence.

It also makes Fake Peppino harder since the fakes and the one you can hit look the same
fakes health has dough dripping out so its a bit more easy
