The next lens you should get is the Camon 50mm 1.8. It's an inexpensive but excellent lens for indoor sports like basketball and volleyball. After that research, the Holy Trinity of lenses 16-36 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, and the 70-200 2.8, which you already have, you can cover many sports with this combo-also, good job looking at the used camera markets. There is no need to go into debt for new gear.
Love the insight! Something in that range is totally on my list, the 70-200 is just a little too long for basketball and volleyball!
