In Abrahamic religions, God is in some distant heaven, watching over us , showering grace on those who obey Him and punishing those that don't! In Hinduism, God permeates the inanimate and animate and manifest as pure divine love! To Hindus Krishna is an adorable small boy, full of love, playfulness and mischief, 'harassing' the Gopikas who are in full ecstasy with his leelas! He transforms us into joyous children enjoying and reveling in his playful and hilarious mischiefs!
