Oh, how lovely to hear a fellow Kiwi speak. I'm ashamed to say that I have overlooked Emma's range because I was under the impression that the range was on the "nontoxic" bandwagon. I can now see that I'm wrong, and I love the efforts with regard to sustainability, but just as importantly, there is good science backed research as far as the ingredients go. [SUPER LONG REC POST] I am SO thrilled that this awesome brand is getting the exposure it deserves! Thanks Caroline!! I’ve been using EL for the past two years and my skin has never been better - and I have tried dozens of the most luxurious brands out there (A Bader, La Mer, T Harper, blah blah blah). I literally screamed the first night I tried their intro set because my face lit up like a light bulb! The pump packaging that keeps the products fresh, the super smooth textures, the lovely scents (the only natural fragrance that doesn’t overwhelm me), the brightening and hydrating effects, everything is just perfect. I still try different skincare products from time to time just because I can’t keep my hands & curiosity off new formulas, but I always find a smug sense of satisfaction when I feel that they just don’t compare with EL. This brand truly does not ask us to compromise one single bit for “natural” formulas nor for sustainability! In fact I just finished my Supernatural Creme Riche a week ago and switched to another luxury cream - and basically watched my face just dropped and creased due to sudden decrease in collagen! Hopped onto the EL website and immediate bought refills… to join a huge box of refill containers that I will send back to them soon for recycling. My favorites: 1. THE SERUM: Contains the best & also more stable form of Vitamin C currently available. I love that they don’t overdo the niacinamide but keeps it at the optimally effective level. Hydration level is awesome and more hydrating than the Augustinus Bader serum I’ve tried if that helps as a reference. Super brightening and evens out skin tone, a pleasure to apply and one pump provides the perfect amount. 2.THE RICHE CREME, see above. Lifted my 31-year-old face to the stratosphere and just as hydrating & moisturizing as La Mer. In fact I’d argue the user experience is much smoother and doesn’t feel like the oil’s sitting on top of my skin like La Mer did. 3.THE FACE OIL: with bakuchiol. Do try their products together since the serum + cream + oil is really the winning combo that achieves optimal results comparable to if not better than that of any iconic routines out there. I would never do without this oil as it’s moisturizing, colorless, and sinks right in. Even if I’m occasionally curious about another face oil I’m inclined to use that in conjunction with this. 4.EXFOLIANT: Basically lit up my face like a light bulb. best. gentle. exfoliant. ever. Nothing else catches my eye now. 5.DAY CREAM: lovely scent similar to the exfoliant. Very very subtle shimmery effect that’s really pretty. Absorbs very quickly which reduces time significantly for makeup application. No pilling in this line whatsoever. So I’ve basically just favorited the entire line 😂 But not so favorites: - THE SPF, because it’s so oily and very difficult to wash off (at least the old formula, but I’m told the new one has the same consistency). I would much prefer Korean sunscreens like Beauty of Joseon but it’s not the fault of the EL brand since some ingredients just aren’t yet allowed in western countries. Might work for you if you have very dry skin, but need some serious cleansing action to take off. 2.THE CLEANSING OIL: I didn’t find this to help much with taking off makeup, unless you use a lot a lot (like a few huge pumps) which increases the pricing and also makes the heavy bottle less favorable when traveling. I do use another brand but am tempted to buy a bottle of this to keep at home for use in the morning, just because it smells so good 😂 subtly floral & refreshing. Do consider hopping on the EL wagon :) I too am learning single ingredient skincare pairings from dermatologists’ channels etc but at some point it just becomes way too much work and the products don’t absorb as well or work synergistically. After some real witchy chemistry experiments I’ve decided to dive right back into my good old comfy EL routine. Request for the brand: 1.would love some eco-friendly lightweight containers (larger than the trial set’s) for longer-term travel since the current ones albeit nice are quite large and heavy. 2.please update your website’s review section since I’ve been wanting to leave you a million five star reviews but have not been able to post! 😆 VIVA LA EMMA LEWISHAM!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I appreciate the refillable packaging but I can justify nearly $100 AUD for spf only 30 and 50ml i hate throwing out all these empty plastic things but yours are too expensive.

I worked for a company whose products were being made in the same factory and we trialled a sunscreen with the same base formula as Emma Lewisham’s $90+ sunscreen, which we were going to sell for $50. There is nothing original or innovative about her skincare and it is not worth anyone’s pennies.
