@@stevensmith1031 It's baffling just how little there is to talk about with this game. The stories, characters, the world, it's nothing. Once people got tired of criticizing the gameplay, discussion around the game died out immediately. It wasn't even that interesting to hate on it. People still have massive discussions about jank RPGs from like 30 years ago.
Weird to think I just started a second playthrough of Skyrim and still got more out of it than the first playthrough of THIS game. How does that even happen

It was Chris's plan from the start. He was already aware that was going to be the most fun to be had from the game and was trying to get them to go to one of the city areas for that very reason.

I still can't believe they beat Starfield in less than an hour. They even got the super secret ending where Todd Howard shows up and kills them.

@@oldylad We see that the game does have auto-saves later in the video (as if any modern game wouldn't), the tone of their voices really obviously changes when they're pretending to be mad, and if you look closely you can actually see the footage of them "restarting" the game actually just seems to be the same footage from the first time they started the game (the camera moves in the exact same way both times).

i like how people in the game go "they even think earth exists" like its been 2000 years or something and not like earth was destroyed only 150 years prior and its only like 5 light years away
It was a bizarre choice having this so close in the future. Make it 1000+ years in the future and the amount of people on random far-flung planets makes a lot more sense
It's like the Fallout 4 quest where a ghoul kid is trapped in a fridge that is 30 meters away from his parent's home but in hundreds of years nobody thought to look for him or apparently go more than 5 meters outside the house.

@@TheMasterMind144 i think emil gets blamed for a lot of bethesdas faults unfairly but im not gonna lie and pretend i think hes good at writing serious stories. his strength is fun iconic goofy side quests, not writing a main story

I love that the majority of their enjoyment came from pointing and laughing at the NPCs
I felt barely a flicker of hype for this game and I was still chronically let down by it.
I kinda wished Dave just stayed on that "travel screen" for the rest of the playthrough just to piss off Cory even more.

Bethesda hasn't made a good game since 2011. You could even say Skyrim isn't a good game compared to Morrowind and Oblivion, but it did have good atmosphere.
IMO Oblivion was really bad for the time but at least was super fun and had interesting story lines, Skyrim was a bit nicer for its time but less fun than oblivion
