The two men likely bribed the police to let them go. British Police (to which this man belongs) can make this very difficult for the men by releasing their photo to the press. I imagine this detective will ask actual questions, expect answers and not accept cash over words.

@Dinadino994 I didn't say they weren't relevant, I asked why this guy feels he has a right to blackmail people publicly when he seemingly has nothing to do with the case in any official capacity. The people whose job it is have already spoke to them.
That struck me also. Supposedly this presenter even used to be a police officer. Very unprofessional to threaten two individuals on public TV who have already spoken to the police and likely aren't allowed to share information publicly at the moment. The whole ordeal and the way it has been reported is just odd.

Anyways coming to the case analysis, all of you are missing two important points :
1.) Jay was critically dehydrated : - which means he either got kicked out from the stranger’s (two men) apartment without even being able to sip a drop of water OR why couldn’t he get some water from the villager to whom he asked the bus timings ? Again if he was really dehydrated, wouldn’t he ask for some water from that villager ????
2.) The phone was out of charge about to die :- obviously if he was partying then there are less chance that he would have charged his phone that night since he was intoxicated BUT what about Morning ? Weren’t the two men a bit hospitable to let him charge his phone in the morning ??
Lets assume he didn’t get a charger, but couldn’t he get another villager’s phone to make a call ?
Sadly if this is the case then he might be no more since he is not available in phone or maybe he is hiding ?
All the above questions are based on MEDIA given Facts , but lets look into the other side:
For a fact, Jay is attached to the dr@g dealing mafia , and these mafias are more clever , influential & intelligent than the Police , so they definitely know how to hide a crime or even to erase a person…
One possible story as stated by some goes on like this : These dr@g agents were divided into two groups and long story short, Jay stole some of the stuff and alleged that the rest which was in the bag got stolen ! Jay called lucy and when lucy communicated this to the mafia boss, he ordered that he gets it back or the money or someone will be eliminated! The same story states that the snap location was shared by Lucy and NOT Jay and that his phone had ample amount of charge left in it before Jay left his phone in bedroom and vanished , interestingly the story also asks why is the snap name “Jay” and not “ me” if it was really Jay who was texting ?
So what about the villager who said she saw him ?

Tenerife is NOT a good place to be and even the nearby locality villagers know it, most people who come there are old people or dr@g mafias and the Tenerife residents know it…. So how can u believe one villager who claim to have seen him but have not provided drinking water when Jay was dehydrated ? I just feel so devastated for this family , no matter what has happened in jays life it doesn’t warrant nasty comments, speculation or keyboard warriors. The important thing right now is for him to be found, for his family to get SOMETHING anything to move forward into where jay is. I pray for a miracle that his found alive, and if sadly it’s not the case, at least find him to be able to grief in peace. Many people have done regrettable things in their lives, he turned his life around and was trying to make a better life for himself. If even the victim of said crime has forgiven him and asked for people to stop this nonsense online, it says a lot to his character.

So no, he wasn't alone and too out of it, he had the option to go back to the hotel with his friend. Why he chose not to hopefully will become clear.

Only this evening I realised the two men he went back with did not have tickets to the festival. They were booked to stay in Tenerife, in a remote area, for 2 nights. They stayed one extra night for cops to interview them I imagine. I think Occam's Razor says he got lost in the mountains, but, I'd always thought these two men were in Tenerife for the festival. It would be interesting to know more about them! - sounds like they were hanging around outside the festival?
There are bars near the festival, 2 nights is ok for a weekend, ive been to Ibiza for 2 nights. Sometimes with air b & b it's cheaper if you're accommodation is away from tourist areas. Jay met them in a club after the festival, the question is if he really needed help, why didn't he ask the woman who was driving the car who saw him and told him bus times?

Ive literally just came
Back from the place he went missing I went to have a look. The cafe he was seen the bus stop is a 5 min walk down the way he would of been told to walk. It’d a road and a path. There are big stones put there to stop cars potentially falling off the edge. There is very little chance he fell off the edge, very very unlikely. Unless he jumped. Going up there tonight has just confirmed to me he’s been taken.

Those two men are back in their own country. They should have been spoken with before Williams arrived in Tenerife, and if you can believe their accounting of the events. They may lie to save themselves from being culpable.

@@C0NR098 Is it beyond the realm of possibility that something happened in the airb&b and Jay needed to get out of the area quickly. He didn't get a lift home from them, he didn't want to wait around for a bus, he didn't want to walk home using the road as he knew they would catch up with him in their car. So he had no choice. He had to get home by going cross country.

This man is echoing just what I thought. They were only there from UK for a few days, not enough even for a decent holiday stay. Had they gone to track him down? Indeed Jay may have upset someone in UK. Did Jay get into their car out of choice? A forty minute drive away to a remote area is suspicious also. I think this mystery has got all of us curious as after an intensive search no clues are found beyond the holiday cottage environs.

It baffles me how tourists do irresponsible things like hiking without water, phone in a hot environment, or get involved with dodgy people. Then their family and detectives from other countries criticise the authorities and rescue teams spending that country's resources etc on a huge effort. Doesn't seem right to me, let them do their job and tourists must be sensible about setting off on walks without being prepared in harsh conditions

Convicted of violent disorder in August 2023, when he was aged 18. He is now 19. His codefendants were found guilty of witness intimidation, attempted robbery and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Throughout a trial at Preston Crown Court, all eight laughed and joked in a way the judge said showed disrespect. The judge said if the group had been convicted of the more serious charge of section 18 wounding, they would all have gone to youth custody.
Tom Hilton, who was 17 at the time of the attack, suffered a head injury so serious his skull was exposed, and wounds to his shoulders and legs in the attack close to the Old Paper Mill in Hermitage Street, Rishton, in August 2021.

He pled guilty to attempted burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving. Before conviction for these offences, he had 14 convictions for 28 offences.

Who does he think he is demanding to talk to people he has no right to talk to. This has nothing to do with the British police and if I were one of the 2 men I’d sue him if he plastered my picture everywhere. From what I understand they stayed an extra day than they were meant to to answer questions from the police who were obviously satisfied or they wouldn’t have let them go and leave the country.

The two men who gave Jay a lift have been interviewed by the Spanish police. If the Spanish police had seen anything suspicious they wouldn't have let them go home. It's now up to the British or Spanish police to talk to them again - if necessary. It's not for the TV / newspaper press or the internet press to release their names.

No, they haven't found his phone yet. The photo he has a blanket draped over his shoulders - it can get cold up there in the night time that's probably why. The lady who helps look after the AirB&B (Ofelia - the last person to "officially" see him, it's actually her brothers property) has said it was a blanket that was inside the property. Unsure about the shoes, they look like black trainers to me.
