It's frustrating that Mainland US doesn't care about Puerto Rico. This is a horrible situation, yet she speaks about it like she's reporting a baseball game. "The good news is..." is a very inappropriate statement in this situation. Americans, like it or not, have their lives at risk. Puerto Rico has been repetitively beaten down without much help to rebuild.
This is a local news station for the coastal bend, which is in Texas. Did you expect her to start virtue signalling about the plight of the Puerto Rican people? Maybe if she plugged a go fund me for that region would you be satisfied? Or perhaps a mini doc about their path to statehood? Bottom line is she's reporting local weather and the good news is that it's not coming here, locally.
