Doja really does deserve this. Not only does she write her own songs, but she also produces them too. It's very rare for an artist's debut album and their second album to both be amazing , but both of Doja' s albums are so amazing. It's also really amazing to see a woman who is a girly girl who loves the color pink and sparkly outfits succeeding in any industry. Not that there is anything wrong with girls that are tomboys those girls are amazing too.
She’s actually done three albums. Hot Pink & Planet Her are her 2nd & 3rd albums respectively. Her debut album is entitled ‘Amala’, but that didn’t do well on the charts.

She’s so talented like physically the breathe control it takes to go from singing to rapping to singing is A LOT
Y'all in the younger generation keep saying that...but historically, this IS the bar that has been OURS, and OUR NORM since the dawn of popular music. Unfortunately the ball has been dropped in recent years in favor mediocrity, packaging, and sex appeal over actual talent that can last through the years. I may not always agree with Doja's cursing, but from a technical ability standpoint, when I look at history, this is one of the few artists that has what it takes to carry on the standard of excellence set by Janet Jackson (it was, btw, NEVER Britney Spears...Britney can't even dance well beyond an 8 count).

Long-time Doja fans know that her best songs are deep cuts. The singles she make just for radio and to please the label. The deep cuts on the album I think are the real her and she makes those songs for those of us that she knows will feel them.
