The Artistic Juggle: Navigating Time as a Writer and Artist 🌈🎨📚

Hey wicked friends! 🌈 Just wanted to share a little bit about the struggles I encounter as a writer and artist - time, or rather the lack of it! It can be a real juggle trying to carve out enough time for both of my passions, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Creating art and writing are both such grounding and calming distractions for me.
Right now, I'm knee-deep in several projects - from painting a self-portrait of my wife to exploring themes like owls, fairies, roses, and goddesses on canvas. And on the writing front, I'm delving into another book, a short story, and some blog posts about Medea and Circe. It's a whirlwind, but amidst the chaos, I'm learning to prioritize daily me-time.
In my downtime, you can often find me buried in books about ancient history, psychology, art history, and more. And yes, I do have a guilty pleasure for reality TV - 90 Day Fiance is a must-watch for me! However, I watch UA-cam the most. Your Wet Sock, My Thots, Ashley Says So, Sloan, Ti’s Hot Mess History, Weird History, Coffee House Crime, Rotten Mango, They Got Away With Murder, Briefed, Psychology in Seattle, and Kempire - are probably the main YT channels I binge at the moment. When I need to unwind, I love taking long walks with my wife at the trails in Old Settler's Park. And if I'm really in need of a recharge, it's Indian, Vietnamese, or Greek food and a binge-watch session of my favorite UA-cam channels.
