This right here is why I love West Coast swing. It's a way to dance to contemporary music that is so innovative and expressive and beautiful - like, it's a way to dance to modern music as two people instead of just stomping your feet to the beat as a single body.

This is outstanding! I am not "into" dance but damn I watched this 5x. Love the bigs moves and especially the grace notes like the way you start with bobbing your head and she is totally responding with her smile, the "shiver," the little steps you take after your big solo spin and how you walk backwards so deliberately together. I wanted those moments to go on longer, but like a true artist you leave us wanting more. Brilliant performance. Major respect for the choreography and execution. Thx for sharing. Changed my mood - and opened my mind!

Gosh dangit that was good! Had to watch it three times, cannot get enough of them. I used to dance WCS but not a tiny fraction as good as this. This is magical. Unbelievable people can be this good improvizing.
this is SO good! something about it makes you just watch it and watch it. even the other dancers get pulled into the rhythm of it! these two make an outstanding duo. they give each other room to perform individually and then they match each other so well with all these intricate moves when they are dancing close. they seem to sense each others moves perfectly! just OUTSTANDING....... what else can i say?
I really appreciate how Brandi has these moments where she gracefully holds to the music until the very last second (2:57).
I do too, I think the art of pause is one of the most powerful technique, if not THE most. Which is so weird because there is no actual dancing in a pause !! 😆😀

I love Ben and Brandi on this, they absolutely killed this song. Three points I want to just acknowledge:
One, I feel like Ben has a such mastery of whoever he leads, while highlight the best out of the song and the follow.
Two, Brandi is such an amazing teacher, I look forward to taking more workshops from her again.
Lastly, I really appreciate Maxime's enthusiasm for them, he's almost jumping out of his seat like a sports fan haha 😂

Saw a clip on Instagram and had to find the whole video, absolutely blown away, watched it a few times. The moves, chemistry, rhythm, and even body language was all fantastic. It was so alluring and elegant, I could watch these 2 improv for hours lol. Insanely good job, can barely even tell it was improvised - I would believe if they said that they rehearsed for weeks.

I have watched this video many times now, and I am so impressed! I've watched many West Coast Swing videos, and on just a few, the dancers seem in perfect sync. This is one of them! Ben is incredibly sure of every move he makes with this song, and Brandi is exquisitely responsive to his every move request. And that "shiver" they did together was terrific! I wonder whether they practiced it beforehand. Anyway, Ben is a great leader and Brandi is a wonderful dancing partner. Really remarkable dance! Thanks for sharing.
