Chevrolet did make 100 SS Camaro's with the 350 bhp and 385 lb-ft LT-4 that Corvette had been using in there Grand Sport Corvette which made it the fastest F-Body ever Built.
Then they changed it up a little for the last year "2002" The 35th Anniversary had a 2nd Generation LS-1 that had the following Specs: Engines: 3.8 V6 200 bhp. nice ride what kind of headers are those? I live in atlanta and have a 95 firehawk thinking about doing an LT4 conversion on it but we have to pass the sniffer test up here so not sure if the long tubes with a cat would pass looks like you don't have to worry about that in FL

This motor turned 6250rpm.

That's an LT4 SS....w/ SLP ram air from the factory. This car probably made between 360-370hp bone stock.
I saw a video where they dyno one of these and it was pushing 390 hp

If it is a SS, no it doesnt have a V6 in it. Z28 and SS have V8 LT1's from 93-97... In 98-02 they had V8 LS1's. V6 only come in base model.
